Professional development isn't simply about adding another skill to someone's CV. It's about giving people the confidence and capability to put their knowledge into practice.
Think beyond the skills gap. What could greater confidence unlock within your team?

A great insight highlighting just how important good machinery preparation and maintenance is.
But what if your club doesn't have a dedicated mechanic and you are ready to develop your skills?
Explore our Basic Machinery course and book your place today.
Autumn rarely arrives quietly for the turf industry. Wetter mornings, changing growth patterns, falling leaves and increasingly challenging working conditions place greater pressure on both turf and machinery.
James Breeze, mechanic at @HowleyGC, explains how careful workshop preparation can help protect turf health as autumn conditions take hold.

After 10 years at @FormbyLadiesGC, @RobSandilands could hand over the reins to another course manager tomorrow with the utmost confidence in what they would inherit.
But Rob isn’t looking towards the exit. Having put in the hard yards to help create a renowned course and a rewarding place to work, he is enjoying the results alongside the colleagues and members who helped make it happen. Why would he want to leave?
For November's Greenkeeper International cover feature, we spoke with Rob Sandilands. Read all about it here: bigga.org.uk/news-listing/bu…

Precision starts long before the first cut.
At Bernhard and Company, every grinder is designed to make accuracy simple and repeatable. When machines are quick and easy to use, there is no reason to compromise. That consistency ensures every mower delivers a clean cut, reducing plant stress and supporting stronger, healthier turf over time.
It is this balance of efficiency and precision that helps turf professionals maintain the highest standards, day after day. Because better processes in the workshop lead to better performance on the course.
Watch Episode 7 of Perfect Cut to see how precision keeps performance on track. 🎥
If you’re a @GCSAA member you might want to take a look at this fantastic initiative. You could be heading to the U.K. in January 2027 for the experience of a lifetime!
