When i edit on premiere pro and i have the text tab (transcript) open, it makes premiere pro lag even if the timeline only has a basic 1080p video, on top of that premiere is crashing for me at least 4-5 times when editing longforms. i'm on version 25.6.2
The first guy to use ai to make a premiere pro clone that doesn't crash every two seconds and lag like hell on a $5000 pc is going to get paid
The downfall of this guy must be studied bro
He used to post the best video editing tutorials and the best presets that are used by everybody and now he is just posting ai generated trash that he knows wont help anybody in any way.
every single work day, i have to close my projects and clear the cache twice, and restart adobe premiere proat least 7-8 times, i hope adobe dies bro, i will wear a suit and tie on the day adobe goes bankrupt
One comment i would like to mention about the current ai video editing and motion graphics hype,
is that Higgsfield and other major companies, hire a motion designer to first make a video from scratch, then feed it to their ai to recreate it then say it was 100% made by AI.
I am already using AI to edit but not in the way you think, I made a Premiere Pro toolkit that helps me do many actions way quicker than usual, it took like 2 months of consistent back and fourth and whipping chatgpt to come up with something this clean though
I spent 4 years trying to become a full time editor, i finally started making solid money about a year ago, and now ai is here to take my job

Something that i as a goy noticed is that when editing in premiere pro on a MacBook u get much less lag when you have a full big timeline vs on windows, on windows as soon as theres more than one track and over 15 mins of cut footage it starts lagging
The answer to this AI editing tool drama is will content creators continue hiring editors, or will they use this tool, that's it, anything else is just useless yap and conflict, nothing will be achieved by attacking that guy.
