Call me a conspiracy theorist, but Spain has endured far too many tragedies, “invasions,” incidents and attacks over the past year for us not to raise more than one eyebrow.

The only reason that kinda makes sense is if Israel/KAN is banned the government of Israel will make KAN private. Now obviously most people don't care if that happens but the EBU do so to them keeping them in is the only way to keep KAN "public".
