ETnews reports that Samsung will launch its second-generation tri-fold smartphone next year, creating a new “4+4 flagship lineup” strategy. First half of the year: 4 models Galaxy S27 Galaxy S27+ Galaxy S27 Pro Galaxy S27 Ultra Second half of the year: 4 models Galaxy Z Flip9 Galaxy Z Fold9 Galaxy Z Fold9 Ultra Galaxy Z TriFold2 This means Samsung could have eight flagship models annually, with the second-generation tri-fold device joining the foldable lineup as a regular flagship product.

i called it lmao this is what happens when you make products based on whether or not you CAN, rather than whether or not you SHOULD. nobody’s spending $3000 on a foldable when they can get both a phone and a tablet with better specs from the SAME company for $1000 less 😭

Exclusive！ The privacy screen on the Samsung S26 Ultra goes far beyond a global privacy mode. It also supports partial, localized privacy control. Here is how it works. You can apply privacy protection to only a specific part of the screen, for example a message notification popup, while the rest of the display stays completely normal. A very realistic scenario. When you receive a highly private message, from your own viewing angle you can see the full content clearly. From an angled side view, the notification area turns fully black, making the message impossible to read, while the rest of the screen remains visible and unaffected. This means the privacy screen no longer darkens the entire display. It protects only the content you do not want others to see, with much higher precision. In my opinion, this dramatically improves real world usability, especially in elevators, public transport, queues, and other public spaces. This is a genuinely practical privacy feature.

The myth: Apple ships the same phone every year The reality: Apple upgrades every year The irony: Samsung ships the same phone every year

The downfall of Vision Pro needs to be studied.
