Today I learned not every team does this?
The Sixers crowd was chanting “SUCKS” after every Cavs player was announced 😭 It turns out they've always done this? As a Bron fan I'm LOVING this crowd 😂🔥 (H/t - @Lebronin1)

Pretty sure I could wipe my computer and be back to work in a few minutes. No dotfiles to sort out. No languages or dev tools to install. I haven't tested that confidence with an actual wipe yet. Maybe this weekend.

Someone on the @ampcode team asked how I use Amp. I said “everything,” which explains nothing. So I asked Puck to review a week of my threads. Turns out I use it to split big goals into research, design, and build threads, then bring the work back together. Prompt below.

Prompt for Puck: """ Review my threads from the past week. How do I actually use Amp? Where do I push it hard? What do I underuse or never touch? Which prompting habits help, and which get in my way? Cite examples. Separate what you can observe from what you're inferring. """

Why is everyone posting three.js stuff today?

Started golfing around the 4th of July. Kept score for the first time today, off the forward tees (not too proud to admit): 93 over 16 holes, add 12 total for the 2 I skipped and another ~5 for generous gimme putts. Call it 110 for my baseline.

Had a great chat with @excid3 and @collin_jilbert today! I already liked @hatchboxio (a lot) . Then I talked to the people building it. It tracks. Good product. Very good people.

Just took my first Waymo. Half the price and twice the satisfaction of any uber I’ve taken in the last 5 years.

Just kind of hit me that my whole process for learning something new in code is basically unchanged since I started. it used to be find a working example, pull it apart. The source just keeps shifting. Niche forums, IRC chats, StackOverflow, and now I just ask an agent to write me one.

20 years writing code and now I basically just set up the loop, give good direction, and watch the model do the whole thing by itself. Frees me up to go outside, start the next idea, or just not be at my desk for once. What a time to be alive.

Seems like every day someone else launches a new terminal on this site.

I recently picked up golf and the one thing I've learned: the bar for being "good" is on the floor

Saw an absolute twitter dev sitting at a bar - multiple thermals open, all running Claude code, writing obsidian notes, copying skills from GitHub. Tried to preach the gospel of @AmpCode, but his heart was not ready.
