Dear Africans, for the record, both FIFA and CAF have not congratulated Senegal for winning the Afcon tournament 7 days after the final.

If South Africa is so perfect, why is Makhadzi in Botswana? She is stealing jobs from local musicians in Botswana. Makhadzi must be immediately deported and perform in Giyani, Johannesburg, or Pretoria.
BREAKING NEWS MAKHADZI AND HER TEAM SAFE IN BOTSWANA AFTER HIGH COMMISSION INTERVENTION South African award-winning musician Makhadzi and her team are safe and back at their hotel following the intervention of the South African High Commission in Gaborone amid a contractual dispute in Botswana. Department of International Relations and Cooperation (DIRCO) Deputy Director-General for Public Diplomacy Clayson Monyela confirmed to MDN News that the matter was being attended to and that the musician and her team were safe. Monyela said Makhadzi had visited the South African High Commission in Gaborone earlier on Tuesday, where the matter was addressed. "The matter is being attended to. She was at the South African High Commission in Gaborone earlier today. She and her team are safe and back at their hotel. The contractual dispute is being dealt with," Monyela told MDN News. The development follows a video in which Makhadzi claimed that she had been stranded in Botswana since Saturday, 31 October, after her passport, vehicle and personal belongings were allegedly taken during a dispute. The singer said the incident happened while she was performing at an event. She alleged that two men approached her and demanded her passport but failed to provide identification documents to establish their authority. Makhadzi subsequently raised concerns about her situation on social media, saying she had been unable to return to South Africa because she did not have access to her travel documents. The dispute has been linked to Botswana-based promoter Gilbert Seagile of Gilbert Promotions, who has reportedly handled the musician's bookings and business dealings in Botswana since 2023. The disagreement reportedly involves financial and contractual arrangements relating to previous performances and promotional work for her upcoming One Woman Show. However, the specific details of the dispute and the parties' respective positions have not been independently established. Makhadzi, whose real name is Ndivhudzannyi Ralivhona, is one of South Africa's most popular performers, with a strong following across the continent. While the intervention has brought relief following concerns about her situation, the contractual dispute remains unresolved.

Mr Mnangagwa may have his own preferred successor, but as ordinary citizens, we have looked across the nation and vetted every politician. The only man truly fit, mature, and possessing the dignity to lead Zimbabwe is General Chiwenga. He is not a 'stomach politician' trying to escape poverty through public office, nor is he corrupt. He had options to abandon the people for material gain, but he refused to be bought, unlike the politicians, pastors, and celebrities who accepted cars. The desire for him to lead the country is coming from the people, not him. He has never publicly stated that he needs to be the next president. He has never done so, but his speeches, the way he is expressing his vision is stealing the hearts of the ordinary citizens and demand that they want him to lead them.

I don't understand Why does it bother South Africans when an African country chooses peace over hostility towards fellow Africans? Entering Angola reminded me of what African unity actually looks like. No xenophobia, no being called names, just people focused on growth and business. Some neighbors could really learn a history lesson in human decency from how Angola treats its guests

General Chiwenga's name is not a stepping stone for political opportunists seeking relevance. We strongly warn these political newcomers (Mafikizolos) to establish their own credibility through legitimate channels, rather than hiring proxies to insult the People’s General. Regerai madoda.

This is a Zimbabwean Minister β€” @TateMavetera someone our children look up to β€” reportedly using Diprosone, a prohibited skin-lightening cream, to alter the beautiful complexion God gave her. What message does this send to our girls? That dark skin is something to be ashamed of? That success means becoming lighter? That your natural self is not enough? We do not need leaders who reject their own identity. We need people who teach our generation: love the skin you’re in. Your melanin is your power. Your natural beauty is your greatest pride. If those in positions of power are ashamed of who they are how do we expect our children to stand tall? True leadership means setting the example β€” not erasing yourself. Be proud of who you are. Be proud of your skin. Be proud to be Zimbabwean

Today marks 5 months since I started living in Angola and I've been calling Kwerekwere, foreigner or eve asked when I'm going back to Zimbabwe. Angolans are very nice welcoming and friendly. They don't consider vandalism, looting, destruction of property or xenophobia as patriotism.

For the record, the VP isn't against the President ,he is against a broken system that widens the gap between the elite and the masses every single day. He pointed directly at unchecked corruption as the cause. If exposing corruption and societal divides makes him unpopular to some, then he is doing exactly what is needed. The greatest downfalls of our nation remain corruption and nepotism. Furthermore, regarding governance, the VP was clear. the party and the government must be driven by the grassroots, not a chosen few. Every citizen has a right to be heard on governance and constitutional amendments. If demanding democracy makes someone "anti-government," then we need to redefine what citizenship means. When the self-proclaimed watchers misfire, it's clear they’ve been swallowed by the system and are simply singing for their supper at the expense of the masses.

If Harare City Council systems approved these structures and took people's money, only to later label them "bogus," then the system itself is the criminal. When land barons infiltrate the state and council apparatus, no Zimbabwean is safe.
