KEGAN is a 6yo crossbreed who was adopted through SSR around 5 years ago but sadly he has been returned to them. He is back in one of their loving foster homes & is patiently waiting for his happy ever after to begin. Kegan would love a family who can take him out on lots of adventures as he so enjoys his walks! He LOVES to play with balls & really enjoys having a good run around the secure dog park. He is a friendly lad who loves to meet new people, can be left for short, reasonable periods of time, & travels well in the car. Kegan cannot live with other dogs or cats, & can live with children 12yo plus. MAXIMUS is a handsome Shar Pei boy, 3yo & medium size at 21kg. He was found wandering the streets by his foster, who had him scanned for a chip & contacted his owners. They explained that they had given him away to someone else. 😢He has now been in her foster care for over a year, & it’s hard to understand how such a beautiful boy was abandoned. His only special requirement is hypoallergenic food, as recommended by his vet, & he is doing very well on it. Maximus has a lovely personality, adores people & children, & gets along well with other dogs. He walks beautifully on the lead & is generally an absolute pleasure to have around, with no issues. Let’s hope Maximus gets lucky & finds the loving home he deserves! 🙏 abldr.org.uk/dogs/maximus-ma… #rescuedogsrock #TeamZay

9mo small/medium lad FERDY was first seen in front of a monastery where the people from there said that he had been abandoned a few days previously. ABLDR's rescuer took him home, but he refused food & the second day he started to vomit so she took him to the clinic. Tests showed he was positive for parvo. After a few days of treatment he was as good as new & ready to find a new home. Currently he is being fostered by his rescuer & is a lovely boy, & good with the other dogs at her home. abldr.org.uk/dogs/ferdy-1720 #rescuedogsrock #TeamZay

4yo MEDENI was found on the streets after being hit by a car & thanks to a kind rescuer, he got the care he desperately needed. Whilst he’s now fully recovered from the resulting paw injury, X-rays revealed something far more heartbreaking - Medeni carries multiple embedded pellets in his head & neck area, evidence of past cruelties. Sadly, this has left him blind in one eye, but the pellets do not appear to be causing any other detrimental effects. Despite everything he’s endured, Medeni is an affectionate, trusting boy who adores people & gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Medeni (also sometimes called 'Medenko') has a balanced energy level. He enjoys a walk & would like a garden to potter around in, he is used to wearing a collar & is getting the hang of walking on a lead which is a new experience for him. Consistent, patient & kind guidance will need to be continued in his new home. CLEO was found as a stray & taken to kennels. Despite being microchipped, no-one came forward to claim her. 😢 This 4.5yo lass would love a bull breed experienced family, she is a typical excitable Bully who loves being with people. Cleo loves her food, treats, being out & about, & having a good old sniff. She's been fine around traffic, horses, birds, bikes & people walking past. She really shouldn't be in kennels so here's hoping someone will open their heart & home to this magic girl. Cleo is still under assessment for children & other dogs, but there has been no reactivity so far.
