The #DATA results disappointed this morning. To be honest, would have got out this morning but failed to get reasonable loss. So, I can wait, I usually do. Sorry if anyone followed me in. Otherwise, my portfolio starts week very positively +0.21%.
Took Miliband a while to find the self destruct button at the FO, but like the Department of Energy, not a lot of outcomes considered on his actions. Never mind, he gets the Muslim vote.
Univested cash from dividends used to ADD to my Gilt Holding #T56 at dirty price of £93.50p, using recent fall on debt and interest fears to double my holding, pushes Gilts & Bonds to modest 7% of portfolio. Yield of ~5.75% is well in excess of my portfolio income target of 4.5%.
#AZN CEO lost about £2.5m this morning on paper as market reminded that mega pharma mergers do not work. I know, I've invested through them. Waken up and smell the coffee Mr Soriot. I'm a holder for now but did thankfully reduce at £140 earlier this year.
