We are so much stronger together. We can overcome anything. Hate and fear have no place here. Love is winning. The people have spoken. If anyone knows who this is, please let me know so I can tag them. Watch til the end

If you haven’t looked at the diagnostic guidelines for ME/CFS since 2019, the definition has been changed in a few major ways: 👉 PEM is mandatory: Post-exertional malaise—the severe flare-up of symptoms after physical, mental, or emotional effort—is no longer optional. It is now strictly required for a diagnosis. 👉 The 4 core symptoms: Official guidelines (like the 2021 UK NICE criteria) now require all four key symptoms: unexplained fatigue, PEM, unrefreshing sleep, and cognitive impairment (brain fog). 👉 Faster diagnosis: The waiting period has dropped. Doctors are now encouraged to suspect ME/CFS at 6 weeks and formally confirm a diagnosis at 3 months, down from the old 6-month standard. 👉 Official recognition: Medical codes (ICD-10-CM) were updated to explicitly classify ME/CFS as a neurological condition, and guidelines now directly link its framework to post-viral illnesses like Long COVID. (Which is a chronic virus) Diagnosis is faster, the criteria are sharper, and post-exertional malaise is front and center. It's conflation in a nutshell.

They do. Why are you not making proper PPE mandatory and giving covid vaccine to at least as many people as flu vaccine? Please answer your senior medical colleagues including me who are asking you.

International IAQ experts recommend that classrooms should have a ventilation rate of around 14 litres per second per person… …but, in winter, the ventilation rate of a typical UK classroom plummets to just 3.8 litres per second per person. It’s appallingly low.

I've just scrolled a month of this account's timeline. Not one tweet that advocates for Long Covid. ME, yes. Long Covid & ME, yup. Even a tweet about pneumonic plague. A tweet that advocates on behalf of the 400000000* with LC? Not a sniff. *2 year old estimate.

Aiming to repeatedly expose children and young people under 18 to SARS-CoV-2 will set them up for lifelong health harms and is completely unacceptable.
Aiming to addict children and young people under 18 to nicotine of any kind will set them up for lifelong health harms and is completely unacceptable. New regulations coming in today will make it harder for those trying to profit from doing this. gov.uk/government/speeches/u…

So where do you think COVID sits within the new categorisation for respiratory agents? R1, R2 or R3? Consider: 🔎Can it cause severe disease (acute or longer-term)? 🔎Is an infected person likely to spread it to the community? 🔎Are vaccines & treatments readily available?

It would be great if future strategic plans could avoid lies about mode of transmission, "airborne in the military sense" nonsense, and avoid or at least delete embarrassing tweets like the one below, but you do you.
FACT: #COVID19 is NOT airborne. The #coronavirus is mainly transmitted through droplets generated when an infected person coughs, sneezes or speaks. To protect yourself: -keep 1m distance from others -disinfect surfaces frequently -wash/rub your 👐 -avoid touching your 👀👃👄

If we could drop the word ‘fatigue’ from being the leading definition of #ME it would make a huge difference to the whole perception of this illness. People don’t die or take their own lives because they are fatigued. The name CFS was a political decision, a very dark decision.
