A few years prior I had applied for the YGT scheme at @esa 2 years running but failed. At a third time of asking, towards the end of my masters, I finally got an interview and was offered a different role to the one I applied. I gladly accepted. Goal achieved.

I also took some time out during the degree to spend six months working at @RAL_Space_STFC working on @almaobs. Got super lucky and went to visit the site in the Atacama desert in 2011! Very cold wind up there (>5000m altitude), hard to even take your hands out of your pockets!
