No. Commercial airliners avoid thunderstorms and convective cells by at least 20 miles per FAA guidance. They use onboard radar, ATC deviations, and company rules that prohibit penetrating severe weather, icing, or rapid updrafts like those reported. Reroutes or delays are standard. The Learjet encounter was far riskier than airline practice allows.

Something is seriously wrong with Bangalore’s infrastructure. Every time you start a journey, Google Maps shows an estimated arrival time, but by the time you reach your destination, it has almost doubled. Google Maps is useful only for figuring out the route, not for ETA.

In single lane when traffic is stuck two-wheelers/ autos simply bypassing the whole queue, people blocking the junction for right/ U turn from straight passing road, no bus bay, no traffic rules for BMTC and autos, last but not least lives-taking path holes.

I live in Bangalore, I have been to Mumbai, Hampi, Surat but this only happens in Chennai and Madurai. Recently When I book a Auto/ cab in Chennai. App showing ₹254 Driver: messaging how much does it show Me: ₹254 Driver: ₹330? (Driver not moving for 10mins) Driver: okay? Me: 300 (Driver remains ideal - must be checking bookings with other partners apps and waiting for me to cancel the booking) No experience, absolute waste of time and energy. @rapidoapp_ @Olacabs @nammayatri @Uber_India
