In some anticipation, below are my ancestry results.
Sometimes people think the name Saul is here because I am Jewish which simply isn't the case.
I picked this name randomly many years ago for an Alt Facebook account (kept getting permazucced).
It became my confirmation name upon my entrance into the Catholic church for reasons I will not go into.
Imagine your dad learns that another kid is scoring higher than you at school, so he starts inviting that kid over
He plays catch with him in the yard, helps him with homework, buys him presents - and starts doing those things less for you
That's "high skilled immigration"

My son's Minecraft server has been running in our data center for 18 months.
I built it for his birthday because my home internet was too slow.
The company had an unused server with 256GB of RAM.
He had six friends.
This seemed efficient.
Last month our infrastructure team noticed one machine generating constant outbound traffic to residential IPs after 4 PM.
Security asked what application lived on it.
I said it was a Java-based distributed collaboration environment.
They asked who owned it.
I said a small external user group.
Nobody asked the next question.
Instead, engineering requested access because they thought I had built an internal sandbox platform.
I gave them a separate instance.
Now 32 developers use it for testing.
The CTO approved two new servers for “non-production experimentation.”
My son just got upgraded to 512GB of RAM.

Sometimes it’s a matter of confidence. Showing no fear can shatter the confidence of any large animal.
When we were kids, Bin Laden had reached legendary status.
“Islamophobia” is stupid.
I was 5 years old when 9/11 happened. I would watch the news with my family the days and weeks following the attack, as the world searched for Bin Laden.
He was THE “bad guy” and I’ll never forget the image of him on the screen
I had nightmares for months about a man who I was told lived in a cave somewhere, and wanted to murder Americans for a reason my young brain could not comprehend.
It was him, he was the bad guy. The radicals who followed him were the bad guys.
That’s not “islamophobic” that’s what we knew, what we were taught, a rational reaction to what happened. It is genuinely one of my earliest memories, that image is ingrained into my head.

My daughter and I found a snake close to our house yesterday.
“Dad, watch out! It’s dangerous!” she said.
She is young, so she does not know that what she just said is severely racist.
“Only 48 percent of snakes in this area are venomous, and everyone deserves to be judged by the content of their character,” I said.
To illustrate my point, I walked up to pet it. It bit me. Thirty minutes later I am lying in a pool of my own vomit, blood, and feces.
“I’ll run to Mommy to call an ambulance,” my daughter said.
“Don’t. Ecological circumstances beyond the snake’s control are responsible for this, and wildlife authorities will put him down.”
I regret nothing, and I would do the same thing again. We can never use statistics to guide our actions.
