Print a QR code once, change where it points anytime. Menus, prices, Wi-Fi, opening hours: update the link, keep the sticker. Built in Estonia 🇪🇪

Building something for small businesses or local shops? Drop it below with one line on who it's for. I'll check out every one and reply. I'm building Scanwork from Estonia: QR codes you print once and change later. Still early.

Spot the QR codes nobody will scan. A: by the till, eye level, where the queue stands B: shop door, ankle height C: side of a bus at 40 km/h D: café table, next to the menu Two of these won't get scanned. Which two?

B and C. Nobody crouches at a door to scan a code. And a bus is gone before a camera can focus. A and D work because people are standing or sitting still, phone already in hand, with a minute to kill.

4 things I got wrong building a QR code tool: Logos vanished after a refresh (our own security header blocked them) Mock-up photos that looked pasted on A pretty animated background slowing every page Pages that scrolled forever All fixed. What did you ship and later rip out?

A Halloween poster on a community noticeboard. Friday: Saturday 19:00, free entry Saturday night: doors open, pumpkin contest at 20:30 Sunday morning: photos from last night + the next event Nobody climbed up to swap the poster. The page behind it changed.

A plumber's van, one QR sticker on the side. 08:00: book a visit 18:30: burst pipe? emergency line Saturday: closed, back Monday Same van, same sticker all week. He changes the page behind it from his phone when he locks up.

What happens when someone scans a Scanwork QR code: The print holds one fixed address. Our server looks up where that code points right now, counts the scan (which code, what time), and sends the phone on. Changing the destination = editing one row. The print never knows.

Prove me wrong If there was no AI coding, 99% of web apps and SaaS would dissapear. How would the developers get paid then?

Why the big 3 squares? Comment if you knew the answer.

Someone scans the QR code on your table. Where should they land? A: your homepage. They find the right page themselves. B: a page made for that spot. "You're at table 7": order, Wi-Fi, call staff. A or B? And which one does your business use now?

Before you print 1,000 of anything with a QR code on it, 3 questions: 1. Will this link still be right in a year? 2. Can you change it without reprinting? 3. Will you know if anyone scanned it? Any "no" is cheaper to fix now than after the printer.
