iOS 27.3 brings the changes I needed for Siri AI to work properly with School Assistant!! Except a full rewrite with a MUCH better experience.
School Assistant for iPhone Duo!!
Btw, v5.1 is also out for Apple Vision Pro. It's stuck in review for Mac but will release once approved. Full changes in replies.
School Assistant Version 5.0.1 is out now on iOS and visionOS! Unfortunately macOS is still stuck in review.
School Assistant Version 5, with Siri AI, Smart Create, Class Colors, rewritten Schedule, Schoolwork Categories, and so much more is now available!
Learn more about all the changes here: sunapps.org/newsroom/school-…
School Assistant Version 5 will be going live tomorrow at 12:00 PM Eastern time!
(unless Apple delays OS 27 updates beyond that time)
I had a lot of ideas on how to design the Class Colors feature. Couldn't decide. So I added all of them!
Also coming in v5 is one of the all-time most requested features: Class colors! Still working out how to show it across the UI (especially with app theme color enabled), but here's what I've got so far. Will probably have these designs be a setting/choice.
Given the sheer number of big new features coming with v4.3, I've decided to end my plan of a "staggered" v4 release and skip straight to Version 5.0!
...as part of this other great and highly requested feature!!
(not coming for Schedule at this time)
All the listed features are out now in the v4.3 beta!
Also, here's another one: the option to start fresh for a new semester / term! This has been a longstanding request, excited to finally bring it!
Just pick the data you want to save or delete, and in one tap, you're done!
