Each quantum cat trait is determined by real quantum measurements on hardware via the IBM api: arguably the purest form of randomness and probability.

Just Qubit.
Everyone talks about qubits. Almost nobody explains them.
A classical bit is 0 or 1. Always.
A qubit can be in a superposition (both 0 and 1 at the same time) until you measure it.
When you measure it, it collapses to one state.
The power isn't that it's both at once.
The power is that before measurement, it evolves according to quantum mechanics, and you can engineer that evolution to solve certain problems exponentially faster.
The catch: qubits are fragile. Any interaction with the outside world collapses the state before you want it to. That's called decoherence.
Building a useful quantum computer means keeping thousands of qubits isolated long enough to compute.
RIKEN just got 5 silicon qubits to cooperate at 99.9% fidelity.
Useful scale needs thousands.

Quantum is poised to become a multi-trillion dollar industry in the next few years. We think New Yorkers should share in that profit.
That's why we negotiated that New Yorkers get board seats and a 15% stake of intellectual property that comes out of NYU's Quantum Fabrication facility.
Because all New Yorkers should benefit from the economic success of this city.
A quantum leap in progress.
(Nice cat, Schrödinger would be proud).
Some magical progress towards "magic state" in quantum!
Our @GoogleQuantumAI team has demonstrated "magic state cultivation" on physical hardware for the first time. The result is a 40x error reduction on our Willow processor vs. previous methods, achieving a state-of-the-art 99.99% logical fidelity.
It's another step towards useful, error-corrected quantum computers to help solve the hardest problems. The result is published in Science today, watch the video below to see how it works

Any thoughts on the first quantum hardware derived NFTs living on Robinhood chain as cats, paying homage to Schrödinger?
