After years of complaining that preseason college football rankings are stupid, I decided to use @ChatGPT to create a new ranking system.
First rule? Preseason rankings don't count, so we only publish after week 6.
First Ever Zero Based College Football Rankings are out!
The first comment on FB was, “Notre Dame at 1, lol.”
Fair enough. I knew posting college football rankings on the internet was going to invite a calm and thoughtful exchange of ideas.

This is outrageous.
Atlanta Braves outfielder Ronald Acuña Jr. has partnered with Kalshi, making him the first MLB player to venture into prediction markets.
Kalshi is also reportedly in talks with MLB for a leaguewide deal.

I know it is a long read, but there is a lot of crazy going on over at the State Election Board.

James Mills is not the Georgia State Election Board.
His GARViS and DOJ letters raise serious questions about SEB authority, federal intervention, confidential voter data, and an attempted end run around the General Assembly.

Advice from a former trader:
If the administration is considering imposing a diesel export ban, don’t spend a week publicly deliberating. That just gives trading houses ample time to accelerate exports of any inventory, driving up domestic prices regardless of the final decision.

GOLDMAN: DIESEL EXPORT BAN COULD PUSH GASOLINE PRICES HIGHER
Goldman Sachs warns a U.S. diesel export ban could lower domestic diesel prices but raise gasoline prices.
Cheaper diesel could encourage refiners to cut production, reducing gasoline supply because the fuels are produced together.
Energy Secretary Chris Wright also acknowledged that an export ban could increase gasoline prices, even as the administration looks for ways to boost diesel supply.
