The Gaurdians Hit Piece: The Truth.
The article's most quoted critic is some former assistant director at ICE and senior counselor at USCIS. That is accurate and incomplete.
She came to that post from an organization that litigates against the removal of migrant children. In March 2021, ICE awarded an $86.9 million sole-source contract to a vendor that had hired her former ICE supervisor six weeks earlier.
The Homeland Security inspector general reviewed that award and found in April 2022 that ICE had not adequately justified skipping competition, and that roughly $17 million went to hotel space and services largely unused.
In May 2021, ICE routed approval of detention and alternatives-to-detention procurement through her.
From August 2023 to March 2024, two House committees sent four escalating letters seeking her communications with that former supervisor and with three organizations affiliated with him, issued a preservation notice, and twice requested transcribed interviews. No documents, transcript or findings were ever made public. Nobody escalates like that when the records have already arrived. None of this establishes wrongdoing, and no finding against her has issued. It establishes interest which is exactly what a reader needs to weigh a source, and exactly what this article withheld.
The article also treats the movement of enforcement veterans into child welfare roles as circumstantial proof of a mission shift.
The Senior Executive Service exists precisely so that senior executives can be placed across government where they are needed, and re-employed annuitants are ordinary. The same resumes could have gone to Veterans Affairs, State or Defense without comment. What those officials have actually done in the roles is the question, and the article does not answer it. It asserts the inference and moves on on purpose.

Let’s talk Interpol Cases today : These are cases I did for years that many haven’t a clue :
The numbers MSM likes to quote , the seventy some percent with "no criminal convictions," are drawn from convictions recorded in United States databases. A foreign conviction does not show up there. Neither does a Red Notice. A man carrying a nine year sentence in another country registers in that column as a Non-Criminal .
And TRAC quietly narrowed it further. They used to count a criminal record, convictions and pending charges together. Now the headline number counts convictions only. So the fleeing to elude felony he is sitting on in Iredell County right now does not move him out of that bucket either.
That is the statistic immigration advocates march behind.
Purposely built to make a convicted extortionist with an Interpol notice and a hostage in his car disappear into a percentage they love talk about.

@Phase2Deport
🚨🚨Today’s post is about how @MayorFrey and Minnesota lie.
Jacob Frey went on Fox News and said this about people who kill: "If you commit a crime, if you commit fraud, if you commit a carjacking, or a murder, you should be investigated, charged, prosecuted, held accountable, and yes, arrested and put in jail."
He was asked that question because of Victoria Eileen Harwell.
German Llangari Inga crossed a double yellow line and hit her car head on. She was 31. She was a mother. Her sister and her teenage daughter were in the car with her. Officers smelled alcohol at the scene. His blood came back at 0.141 percent two and a half hour later.
ICE lodged a detainer on August 4, 2024. Hennepin County let him walk on August 6 and never called. Nobody could find him for the next nine months.
He got picked up again on May 10, 2025 on the vehicular homicide warrant. ICE lodged a second detainer the same day. Hennepin County let him walk again on May 13 at 7:15 in the evening. No ankle bracelet. No home detention. No call.
A detainer asks for notice before release. That is a phone call. There is no court in this country that has ever ruled a sheriff cannot pick up a telephone.
They will tell you turning him over would have killed the prosecution. That is false and every prosecutor in America knows it is false. Massachusetts is a sanctuary state and Massachusetts has a written, mandatory procedure for this exact situation.
They call it an ICE Habe. You hand the man to ICE, you writ him back for trial, ICE takes him again when you are done. The chief justices of the Massachusetts courts put it in writing.
They once spent extraordinary resources extraditing a defendant back from the Dominican Republic so a family could have their day in court.
Massachusetts went to the Caribbean and back for a victim. Hennepin County would not dial a number. But Frey says he cares
Llangari Inga was deported before he ever stood trial. The Hennepin County Attorney's office says he will not face any consequences for the death of Victoria Harwell, that’s a Frey problem, ICE only holds for removal and they know that .
the mayor and his county had the man 2xs, a homicide warrant in hand the second time.
They opened the door both times and said nothing to anyone. The only reason Llangari Inga was ever taken off the street is that ICE officers went and found him themselves.
So the next time someone tells you Sanctuary City polices are good remember this case .

🚨BREAKING: Illegal Alien MS-13 gang banger from El Salvador being harbored under @GovKathyHochul’s New York sanctuary laws was just arrested for hacking a man to death with a machete over 40 times on Long Island.
It’s time to indict @KathyHochul for her crimes.
THE DIGNITY ACT'S MATH DOESN'T ADD UP: SAY NO
Reps Salazar and Escobar: anyone here before Dec. 31, 2020 pays $7,000 over seven years, pays back taxes, and gets renewable legal status. No federal benefits. Salazar calls it no amnesty, no handouts.
H.R. 4393, the Dignity Act, has sat in a House subcommittee since July 16, 2025. In all that time the CBO has produced zero cost estimates for it.
Add the 5-10 million U.S. citizen children of undocumented parents, already fully eligible for Medicaid and food assistance today. Restricting the parent changes nothing.
And the money flows the wrong way. Restitution goes into a federal fund for border construction, a $70 billion training program, and debt reduction. The counties eat the cost. $7,000 over seven years is about a thousand a year. Average per pupil spending is past seventeen thousand.
The benefits bar does almost nothing, because the real costs aren't federal welfare. They're schools and emergency rooms, and both are legally mandatory regardless of status.
🚨 Migrant" isn't a legal term. It's a PR term. The statute says "alien." It says "illegal entry." 8 U.S.C. §1325 — still law, still ignored.
They didn't pick the vaguest word by accident. They picked it to erase the line between the people who waited and the people who didn't.
Congress wrote "alien." Congress wrote "illegal entry."
Someone else wrote "migrant."
Guess which one was chosen to blur the line between the people who waited legally and the people who crossed without inspection?
🚨🚨This case should terrify anyone who cares about how this country screens the people building our weapons systems.🚨🚨
Alma Patricia Contreras Villafana, 54, of South Los Angeles a Mexican national under a 2003 deportation order she simply ignored was arrested today on an eight-count federal indictment. The charge: lying about being a U.S. citizen to work at an aerospace manufacturer and U.S. military contractor. Allegedly since 1996. Allegedly still doing it in 2026. Allegedly more than $1.4 million in wages, using another person's naturalization certificate number.
But here's the question nobody in Washington wants asked: how does a federal deportation order and thirty years of federal tax records exist in the same government and never touch?
The IRS had the W-2s. The SSA had the number. DHS had the removal order. ICE had the case. The contractor had the I-9. Five pieces of the same puzzle, five separate filing cabinets, zero coordination for three decades.
We don't have an information problem. We have an interagency problem.
Fix it:
1️⃣ Mandatory E-Verify across the entire defense supply chain
2️⃣ Standing IRS–SSA–DHS data-sharing agreements with automated flagging
3️⃣ Mandatory re-verification cycles for defense-adjacent employment
4️⃣ Duplicate-use detection on every naturalization certificate number in the system
5️⃣ Contractor liability when vetting is treated as a box to check
Extreme vetting means the government actually reads its own files.
This should have been caught in 1997. It took until 2026.
Initial appearance Monday, federal court, downtown Los Angeles.
@USCongress_ read the @Phase2Deport playbook and get busy !
Kim is absolutely correct, in fact with all the Amnesty talk I bet NGOs and other pro-illegal immigration orgs like @CCharitiesUSA @MaketheRoadNJ @MaketheRoadNY and others are probably at the Darien Gap coaching the next wave of “Asylum Seekers”.
NO to any form of Amnesty! The entire system needs a reset not a forgiveness pass.
This will happen again. Congress is not serious about securing the border. Are they controlled by the cartels, too? @andybiggs4az
GAO found that between 41 and 49 percent of USCIS Fraud Detection and National Security benefit-fraud investigations each year involved potential marriage fraud — consistently the most common subject. That tells you where investigative attention goes, not what share of the roughly 800,000 spousal petitions filed annually are sham.
I'd say it's bigger than they reported by 10-15 percent!

Imagine if the Staff and cabinet members focused more righting the ship and fulfilling campaign promises? No lets make sure we sync our watches. No wonder the nothing gets done with these people in office
New: The White House Rolex, owned quietly by select Trump staffers and cabinet members with enough clout and cash to afford the custom watch—Steve Witkoff and Susie Wiles among them—is one of the most coveted status symbols in Trump’s Washington vanityfair.com/story/status-…
It’s obvious that the award is meaningless. What a mockery to “ Rosa Parks” and the past recipients.
A sitting Congresswoman facing several felonies should have been automatically disqualified but hey , this is the new America. Reward bad behavior daily .
@RepLaMonica is a disgrace
The Word "Trafficking" Is Losing Its Meaning and that Protects Traffickers, who are making Billions.
22 U.S.C. 7102(11) splits the definition. Sex trafficking: under 18 is enough on its own. Labor trafficking: force, fraud, or coercion required.
Congress put the minor provision in one and left it out of the other, deliberately, and hasn't changed it in 25 years.
Here's what nobody reported, and it was on purpose. Real trafficking cases already have a home. HSI investigates smuggling and trafficking both.
Case agents, subpoena authority, forensic interviewers, victim assistance specialists.
The tools to find out whether that smuggling debt closed at the border or followed the kid here and got worked off under threat. That is the fact that decides the case, and no 5 day shelter screening will ever develop it or solve it .
ORR shows 95% of these referrals weren't viable leads for investigators. Shelter staff had called 58% benefit eligible. Both can be true. That gap is the story.
This isn't fewer victims getting help. It's cases going where someone can actually work them.
Congress made that distinction on purpose. The AP's coverage of the reporting change never mentions it. Read this and be your own judge .

Funded for Students Who Weren't There, Not for the Ones Who Were:
New York City enrolled roughly 50,000 migrant students across three school years. Most of them are no longer in its schools. The city has not said where they went, and as far as the public record shows, it hasn't been asked to. Last fall's count came in about 22,000 students down citywide 2.4%, the steepest drop since the pandemic year. It wasn't spread evenly. Chalkbeat identified the 60 schools that took the largest shares of migrant students between 2022 and 2024.
Those schools lost 11% of their enrollment in a single year, nearly erasing three years of gains. Thats odd, publish a piece but leave out important metrics..
So where are they? There are two very different answers, and the city tracks them differently. Still enrolled, not attending: Is the child still on the register. The school is legally required to mark the absence, contact the family, and escalate. The kid remains the school's responsibility, but no report on that.
Discharged: off the register entirely. And for a child under compulsory school age, a school can't just drop them.
That runs through Chancellor's Regulation A-101. There's supposed to be a paper trail, bet that doesnt exist. Students in temporary housing get more protection "McKinney-Vento" gives them the right to stay in their original school after a housing move. But nothing
So which is it? DOE publishes chronic absenteeism broken out by temporary housing status, by ELL status, by disability. It does not publish anything that answers this question. Manhattan Institute noted in July that immigration-related attendance data simply isn't available from the city.
The one time the city was made to produce numbers the 60-day shelter evictions the picture wasn't reassuring. About one in three affected kids turned up at another city school. Close to 700 were gone from the system. And the data was already six weeks stale when the Council received it.
For context on the population: nearly half of all NYC students in temporary housing, 61,323 children, were chronically absent last year
It enrolled 50,000 children. It should be able to say how many are still in a classroom but it doesnt, thats strange.
