.@slopsworld wasnāt an overnight cook.
I built @Scrollyfeed and won the @solanamobile hackathon; proving the mechanics of the app were desirable, achieving a great PMF with 40k users.
But the revenue just never got there and after we shut down, we seen similar apps start to sunset.
823 GitHub commits later and we have submitted the TikTok Casio to @colosseum with my new co founder @mr__wedge who you know from the legendary @BananaZoneApp - plus @Web3Spud as our first advisor for the Token and spending. Also taking @MaskilSOL under our wing as a junior dev on a live product whilst heās learning at @solana school.
SLOPS World will be more than one app; itās an entire ecosystem built around Sloppy the sloth - āthe slowest animal on the planet, dropped into the fastest markets to existā with his journey from degen to financial greatness.

SLOPS has officially been submitted to the @solana Stocklana Hackathon.
And this is where Sloppyās next character arc starts taking shape.
He began as the worldās slowest degen trying to keep up with meme coins.
Now weāre building PreStocks and xStocks into the casino as payouts and slowly dragging him out of the trenches and towards Wall Street.
The goal:
Turn Sloppy the sloth into the Wall Street finance bro he never knew he could become.

Iām self taught and built/shipped my own products and contributed to plenty of codebases, but today highlighted an area I want to improve:
Debugging and fault finding in live production environments.
Itās hard to get deep experience with that unless youāre working alongside a team maintaining a live product or service.
Thereās no shame in admitting where you can improve. I just want to keep learning and become a better engineer.
Iām happy to contribute for free to get that experience. I learn fast, ask a lot of questions and Iām keen to get involved.
