When I was diagnosed with XLP, a rare and severe genetic disorder, in February I wasn’t sure I’d get to play this season.
By the power of God, the love of my family and friends, and my incredible care team, I get to play the game I love today. It’s GAMEDAY.

From a scouting perspective, @PRic508 is one of the best examples of why evaluators should focus on traits and football value rather than simply projecting a player to one position
Coming out of the University of Maine, Ricard was primarily viewed as a defensive tackle prospect whose combination of size, strength, athletic ability, and versatility made him an intriguing developmental player along the defensive front
Maine Pro Day Measurements & Testing
• Height: 6’3⅜”
• Weight: 300 lbs
• Arm Length: 32⅛”
• Hand Size: 10⅛”
• 40-Yard Dash: 5.03
• Bench Press: 33 Reps 👀
• Vertical Jump: 33.5”
• Broad Jump: 8’10”
• Short Shuttle: 4.55
• 3-Cone Drill: 7.52
• Reported 10-Yard Split: 1.48 🤯🤯
At @BlackBearsFB, Ricard aligned at multiple spots along the defensive line and consistently flashed the traits scouts look for in interior defenders. He played with outstanding toughness, leverage, effort, and physicality while showing the ability to anchor against double teams, occupy blockers, and create disruption at the line of scrimmage. While he was not viewed as a high-end pass-rush specialist, his athletic testing and versatility suggested there was developmental upside beyond what many initially projected
After going undrafted in 2017, Ricard signed with the Baltimore Ravens as a defensive lineman. Early in his career, Baltimore began cross-training him at both defensive line and fullback, recognizing that his skill set could provide value on multiple sides of the football
From a scouting perspective, the move to fullback made perfect sense. Ricard brought defensive line size, strength, leverage, hand usage, and toughness to an offensive role that demanded many of the same traits. His understanding of fronts, angles, and point-of-attack play translated naturally into lead blocking, pass protection, short-yardage situations, and heavy personnel packages
What makes Ricard’s story unique is that Baltimore essentially converted a 300-pound defensive tackle into an offensive chess piece. His defensive line background helped him understand leverage, hand placement, block destruction, and front mechanics, all of which translated directly to his success as a fullback
What Ricard Brought to Baltimore:
• Dominant lead blocker in gap and zone run schemes
• Physical point-of-attack presence in short-yardage situations
• Ability to function as an extra offensive lineman in heavy packages
• Reliable pass protector against linebackers and blitz pressures
• H-back versatility and pre-snap motion flexibility
• Receiving ability out of the backfield when called upon
• Core special teams contributor early in his career
• Emergency defensive line depth when needed
NFL Accolades
• 6× Pro Bowl Selection (2019–2024)
• First-Team All-Pro (2024)
• 5× Second-Team All-Pro (2019–2023)

Coaches talk to your players off the field.
My friend Rondale Moore would have turned 26 years old today.
I wanted to make a post in his memory and remind everyone that mental health matters. It doesn’t care if you’re rich or poor, young or old, famous or unknown. It can affect anyone.
No matter what we accomplish in life, nothing is more important than our mental health.
I pray for Rondale and his family today, and I hope he knew just how loved he was. I also hope anyone reading this remembers that you are loved too, and that it’s OK to ask for help when you need it.
God bless. 🙏
