A lot of people in the comments have been asking what this is, how am I finding this info, etc. so I put together a quick little demo video of @SearchCarriers' map, and what I look for. Apologies for the voice, I'm still getting over a cold. 🤧
Hi Stephen here's an easy one that will generate endless fraud cases for you guys.
The suburbs outside of Cincinnati, OH are loaded with chameleon carrier trucking companies, many of them linked to overseas organized crime gangs responsible for cargo theft, human trafficking, and drug smuggling. Over 4,000 companies in this screenshot alone.

You’d be surprised how many shippers, brokers all sizes and so carriers and freight tech bros use search carriers . I use it religiously

Oh here's something I've never tried. I had @bot go through each of the DOTs using @SearchCarriers' MCP in this cluster and pull their fleet sizes. So it's 1,159 trucks across all the carriers here. Not a lot of places to park those in an apartment complex.

If you are not using @garrett_makes Lineups tool in @SearchCarriers to source capacity in this market you are already working at a deficit.
Pair this with grok + the mcp, custom fields, labels, connections and a dash of elbow grease and you have a top 3 carrier sourcing tool on your hands.
In less than 3 hours.
🚛 Introducing Fleet Check, the newest tool in the SearchCarriers toolbox!
Fleet Check adds a way for you to compare expected VINs for a company against their observed VINS for a given time frame!
Check out this short walkthrough video below!
Available now on all Signals plans!
🔌 MCP updates + Grokbot
Check-out this quick overview of adding and using our updated MCP with Grokbot.
Available now on all Search plans and up!
🕸️ Carrier Network Analysis VERSION 2
Yes we rebuilt it!
Run analyses from:
• DOT/MC lists
• CSV uploads
• Lineups or selected statuses
• Company watches
• Shipper carrier networks
You’ll see fleet mix, safety metrics, risk factors, company connections, equipment, HQ, and service activity. Plus outliers vs. this network, not generic averages! What's a standard deviation!?
Use lineups to manage the review list across your team.
This is available now on Compliance plan and up!
⚙ Advanced search overhaul. RIP the scrolling filters of doom.
The filter drawer is no longer a vertical novel.
• Filters grouped into actual tab sections you can find with your eyes
• Search by DOT registration date and latest authority grant date (one day or a range)
• Search by insurance amounts and cargo insurance on file
• Independent radiuses for lane origin and destination
• “Safety Rating Present → Yes” no longer returns unrated companies like a gremlin
• Cleaner results, better mobile, links across the whole company row
Plus a pile of smaller stuff we didn’t cram in here like insurance sorting, more MOTUS cleanup, HQ markers on service maps, mobile actions, new guides, and more
