I ended up in a Twitter ‘conversation’ with two rival fans last week. It started when I tweeted about Trent Alexander-Arnold being a generational talent and my astonishment that Southgate had left...

Trent Alexander-Arnold looks like Liverpool’s quarter-back again & more takes from Sunday’s 2-0 win

Trent Alexander-Arnold looks like Liverpool’s quarter-back again & more takes from Sunday’s 2-0 win

Decent but not riveting. Bobby should have scored at least once though. Defence holding a good line, fortunately when it comes to that disallowed own goal. Doesn't need to be said, but need to move up a gear second half.

Come on Reds!!!!
Anyone got any idea who Hughes is? Assuming Davies is injured? What about Tsimikas? And of course Jota is ill. Obvious really.

Your weekly reminder that the Australian A League is doing a better job with VAR than the English 'greatest league in the world's Premier League. Accountability, transparency and competency. What a concept.
