I love the Lord of the Rings films.
But also, Christopher Tolkien did nothing wrong.
To be very clear, LotR has been brought down by the films. Words by Boyens are treated as on par with Tolkien’s true wisdom, and people insult the original vision often. They deserve better.

Hoy es el aniversario del fallecimiento de Admire Vega.
Ojalá estés siendo feliz en el más allá.
Gracias por toda tu historia, y por inspirar a un personaje con la que me siento identificado y la cual amo.
Te amo Admire Vega. ❤️
I'm glad I'm allowed to paste links into posts again, without needing to smuggle them through by breaking them first. I'd hail this as a rare improvement amongst all the obnoxious UI changes, but since it's a reversion, it doesn't count. Multiple pictures in DMs is good, though.

People endlessly attack me for being a loser, because in reality it is sort of a serious challenge to live while not participating in anything. Most people will lose their minds and start doing horrible things. It's a kind of weakness that they invert into strength.
The "Ruler Wars" segment is one of the best sequences in Non Non Biyori, which is saying a lot. It's impossible to be bored if you have even an ounce of creativity.
Ever since I saw it as a child, I hated the film "Hotel Transylvania," due to its depiction of the triumph of raucousness and frivolity over mild-mannered abstemiousness. I felt personally slighted by its pooh-poohing of charades, a game I had always loved playing with my family.
There was one other person in my primary school class whose mother was a teacher. Once she asked me, "Isn't it rubbish, since it means she's so strict?" I disagreed -- not because I didn't think my mother was strict, but because I *liked* that she was strict.
