Great to stop by Flo’s Diner and to present a New York State Senate Empire Award to Sue Brown and the Madison County business. The beloved diner - the home of 10-cent coffee - has been a landmark and a classic roadside stop along Oneida Lake since 1976.
Last night’s annual fundraiser dinner hosted by the Bosnian American Community Association was a great celebration of Bosnian heritage and culture. The Bosnian people have made many contributions to Utica, Oneida County and the Mohawk Valley.
These honorees are certainly worthy of recognition. Each has truly made a difference and should be applauded and commended for their efforts.

Today, we celebrated the 100th an anniversary of the Dunham Public Library in Whitesboro. For a century, the library has served as an important resource for the community and has offered a variety of important resources and services to residents in the region.
I am pleased that the governor has signed this legislation into law. After New Hartford Fire Department members approached Assemblyman Brian Miller and I regarding this initiative, we worked diligently to move this bill through the legislative process.

It was a pleasure to attend the Mohawk Valley Latino Association’s annual gala yesterday evening. The event is held each year to celebrate Hispanic heritage and to honor local community and small business members.
Earlier this month, I was proud to stand with area firefighters to push the governor to take action on this legislation. I am pleased that she heeded our calls and advocacy and signed this bill into law.

Congratulations to the Durhamville Veterans Club on its 80th anniversary. I was pleased to stop by the club to recognize this significant milestone and am grateful for all our veterans and their service to our nation.
This morning in Chittenango they cut a ribbon for the new creek walk at the Erie Canal Museum at Chittenango Landing. Thanks to everyone involved with this project, which will provide more recreational opportunities for residents and visitors and will enhance the community.
Congrats, again, on this tremendous accomplishment! It was great to visit @HamiltonCollege earlier this year to recognize the national champion men’s hockey team. The team’s hard work, resilience, and dedication all season truly paid off.

I enjoyed attending the Clinton Community Fall Fest on the Village Green. Sponsored by Hamilton College and local partners, the event showcased local vendors and featured harvest-inspired food, goods and activities.
Good to see everyone at the Oneida-Madison Electric Cooperative’s annual meeting in Madison. The cooperative has provided reliable, affordable, sustainable electricity to the most rural parts of Madison and Oneida counties since 1942.
🏈 It was a pleasure to attend last night’s dedication of Tom Schoen Stadium and rededication of Chiz Frye Field in Whitesboro. What a great honor for two exceptional and accomplished coaches who have had a tremendous impact on so many in the region.
