Today, I joined @SenatorBobHall in passing H.B. 1631 that will ban the use of red light cameras in municipalities and local governments. This is commonsense legislation that will ensure due process for registered vehicle owners and save taxpayer dollars. #txlege #RedLightCameras

Welcome to your Texas Senate. You won’t read about it in the media, but this is the norm not the exception.

Today @GovAbbott signed HB540 that will forever honor the life & sacrifice of Richardson Officer David Sherrard. The thin blue line that separates us from evil & injustice is protected by the noble & selfless men & women in blue like Officer Sherrard. #txlege #BackTheBlue

I am thrilled to author SB 2243, Comprehensive Informed Consent, which passed the Texas Senate today. It is an honor to be a part of helping Texas women have the resources and support they need before having to make a very difficult decision. #txlege #SB2243
