In 2011, John Hickenlooper and I began our public service journeys together under the Gold Dome—he as Governor and I as a newly elected State Representative.
Fifteen years later, our roles have changed, but our commitment to serving Colorado remains strong. Let’s finish strong, Colorado!

A special walk down memory lane at The Wynkoop to celebrate the final stretch of this people-powered campaign.
I got my start in public service when I opened up Colorado’s first brewpub. I was a laid-off geologist who hadn’t even run for student council before. Whether it’s serving up beers or serving folks in Washington, I’m always fighting for Coloradans.
We’ve got a real opportunity to flip Congress and put power back into the hands of hardworking families. Let’s finish strong!
An inspiring evening at Historic Denver’s 56th Annual Gala at the beautiful Brown Palace! Preserving historic landmarks, public art, and cultural heritage. Grateful to celebrate Denver’s rich history and those committed to preserving its legacy for future generations!

This is inspiring! We need the voices, energy, and leadership of our young people now more than ever. Their engagement matters, and their perspectives deserve a seat at the table as we shape the future of Colorado and beyond. Our future is stronger when every generation shows up and participates! 💙
Every moment is an organizing opportunity, every person a potential activist, every minute a chance to change the world. ~ Dolores Huerta

Today, I read the proclamation recognizing October 2026 as Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
A woman experiencing abuse is five times more likely to be killed when her abusive partner has access to a gun. Children, relatives, and friends can also be at risk.
Our #ArapahoeCounty District Attorney’s Office, @DA18th, plays a vital role in holding offenders accountable and connecting survivors with advocacy, resources, and support.
Everyone deserves to feel safe in their own home. 💜
Keeping homes warm, energy bills lower, and our neighbors safe! 🏡💙
During National Weatherization Month, I’m grateful for Arapahoe County’s small but mighty weatherization team. By sealing drafts and improving energy efficiency, they help older adults and families stay safe and comfortable at home.
Free weatherization assistance is available to eligible households. Learn more and explore resources here.
Thank you for bringing warmth and care to our community—one home at a time!
Yes—and Colorado!
This week, the @ArapahoeCounty Board of Commissioners heard from @DenverSouth, the South Metro Denver Chamber, and the @AuroraChamberCO about efforts supporting businesses, promoting Colorado, and strengthening our local economy.
Grateful for these partnerships—and our shared commitment to thriving businesses, good jobs, and a strong Arapahoe County and Colorado economy!
A strong community starts with investments that help people thrive.
Today, the Arapahoe County Board of Commissioners advanced the proposed 2027 budget without opposition, prioritizing infrastructure, affordable housing, public safety, and essential services that support residents and strengthen neighborhoods. Final approval is scheduled for December 8.
