Despite attempts by the Trump Administration to cast doubt on our elections, the facts remain: Every vote is verified. Only eligible votes count. So, make a plan to vote today. Our democracy is strongest when we show up and make our voices heard.

This investment means more transportation options for Wisconsin families and new opportunities for businesses and workers. This is how we move Wisconsin forward. Thanks to the leadership of @GovEvers and @SenatorBaldwin!
Wisconsin families want trains that give them a convenient and safe way to travel across our state and beyond. That’s why I couldn’t be happier to deliver funding that gets us closer to making that a reality.

Wisconsin workers deserve fair wages, safe workplaces, and a voice on the job. That's why Legislative Democrats introduced the Build a Stronger Wisconsin package last year to strengthen worker protections. But Republicans failed to advance it. Our workers deserve better.

Join us in honoring Indigenous Peoples’ Day. Long before Wisconsin became a state, Indigenous peoples called this land home. Their histories, cultures, and traditions have shaped Wisconsin for generations, and their contributions continue to strengthen our communities today.

If we’re serious about making Wisconsin more affordable, we have to talk about health care. Families shouldn’t have to struggle to afford a prescription, doctor’s visit or medical bill. Senate Democrats proposed ways to lower costs. Every Senate Republican voted no!

It is PFAS Awareness Week. For years, Wisconsin communities dealt with PFAS contamination while $125 million to address it remained out of reach due to Republican inaction. Democrats fought to get that money moving. Now, it can help protect Wisconsin families.

Wisconsin drivers are paying an average of $4.44 a gallon at the pump. That’s nearly $1.53 more per gallon than a year ago. Wisconsin families shouldn't have to pay the price for reckless decisions made by Republicans and President Trump.

Today, more than 80,000 American service members remain missing or unaccounted for from conflicts dating back to World War II. Nearly 1,500 of them are from Wisconsin. This empty chair in the Capitol is a reflection of their absence. We must do more to bring our heroes home.

President Trump’s attempt to impose new restrictions on voting by mail just months before an election risks creating unnecessary confusion for voters and election officials. Voting by mail remains a legal and available option for Wisconsin voters.

Today, we remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost on September 11, 2001. Twenty-five years later, we will never forget.

Happy Labor Day, Wisconsin!

Wisconsinites who use insulin face unpredictable & overwhelming out-of-pocket costs. To address this, @SenBradPfaff introduced legislation to cap insulin costs at $35 for a monthly supply. It’s time for Wisconsin to join states across the country and make insulin more affordable!

Overturning Roe v. Wade put access to contraception in jeopardy. That's why @SenHesselbein introduced the Right to Contraception Act last year to safeguard access to contraception for Wisconsinites and prevent government interference in personal health care decisions.

Wisconsin households are paying over $2,000 more this year for healthcare, gas, utilities and other goods under President Trump's tariffs, rising costs tied to the conflict with Iran, and Republicans' failure to address health care costs. The numbers speak for themselves!

President Trump promised to end foreign wars and lower costs. Instead, the conflict with Iran is driving up gas prices, making it even harder for Wisconsin families already struggling with rising costs. Wisconsinites shouldn't have to bear the cost of Trump's reckless decisions.

Last session, @StateSenLaTonya introduced Wisconsin's Missing Child Alert bill to help law enforcement quickly notify the public when a case doesn't qualify for an AMBER Alert. Now, eligibility has expanded from children under 10 to under 12, helping protect more families.

2/3 of Wisconsinites support legalizing recreational cannabis. It's time for the Legislature to act. Every year, Wisconsinites cross state lines to buy legal cannabis, sending tax dollars to neighboring states instead of investing them here at home. Let's move Wisconsin forward!
