but he got bursted about 3mins after sharing that information
Had a SA journalist calling him “pony talker” and ‘babblermouth minister’
The first time I saw this story, I was like the family should sue those doctors and the hospital
Jean-Pierre Adams went into hospital for a routine knee operation in 1982.
He never woke up.
An anaesthetic error left the former France, PSG and Nice defender in a coma for 39 years.
His wife Bernadette cared for him at home throughout it all, feeding him, washing him and speaking to him every day.
Adams died in 2021, aged 73.
One of the saddest stories in football.
oh 😮
“May his soul rest in peace!”
Dr Ato Kwamena Sagoe, a former Ghana Secondary Technical School (GSTS) student who represented the school at the 2005 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ), has died in the United Kingdom after a reported battle with cancer.
Ghanaian filmmaker, gospel musician and evangelist Benjamin Alicoe announced the sad news in a Facebook tribute on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, reflecting on their days together at GSTS.
Alicoe remembered his late colleague for his calm demeanour and determination, describing him as someone who “carried himself with a quiet strength, composure, and focus” from their school days into adulthood. “You lived fully, you fought the good fight, and you finished your course. Rest well, brother,” Alicoe wrote.
Beyond his recognition as an NSMQ contestant, Dr Sagoe built a career in medicine, earning MD, MPH and MRCGP qualifications and working as a doctor in Ghana and the UK.
A memorial card shared with the tribute described him as “a brilliant mind, a calm presence, an infectious smile, a generous heart.” It also featured a message reflecting his outlook on life: “What on earth are we here for? To love, to value one another, and to make a difference while we can.”
Dr Sagoe is survived by his wife and two-year-old daughter. His burial is reportedly scheduled for December 4, 2026.
