Losing the ‘tradition’ of conference championships absolutely sucks.
Otherwise, I think a 24-team playoff ends up being a good product for CFB fans that will boost the regular season if done correctly.
CFP leaders are closer than ever to expanding to a 24-team playoff. They are talking buyouts of conference title games and scheduling logistics of doubling the field.
Foregone conclusion?
“If we can get a decent (TV) deal, we are definitely going to 24.”

Blah blah blah blah blah. If every other division that has less money, less scholarships can play in a regular 24 team playoffs the FBS can as well. Stop being an over dramatic diva crying on the internet

Decreased stakes.
Decreased urgency.
Diluted regular season.
Allowing a ton of losses.
Conference championships gone.
Bowl games gone.
They’re going to jam 18 SEC/B1G teams in.
