Monangai has 3 scepters. It’s week 5 of his second season.
Derrick Henry is the all time leader. He has 6.

Lane Johnson’s message on mental health is worth highlighting.
He wanted to play one more season. Instead, after 14 years in the NFL, he recognized that his mental health and his family needed to come first.
Professional athletes are often expected to push through everything, physically and mentally. There’s strength in recognizing when you can’t keep doing that and being willing to say it publicly.
Hopefully his message reaches someone who needs to hear it. 🙏

Right now, probably the McMillen x Rahiki fight. Insane.
But don’t sleep on Mason Jones x Axel Sola this year. Incredible.

There is growing anger around the NFL over the current state of officiating.
After speaking with multiple coaches and executives around the league:
• “What happened Sunday was an embarrassment for football.”
• “Some of these refs are making it about themselves.”
• “It’s bullshit that there’s no accountability.”
• “We are playing with dangerous waters with the way officiating is going right now.”
The anger is not just related to the Trey McBride and Eric Wilson incidents that resulted in referee suspensions.
The frustration is only amplified by the fact that coaches and executives know they can’t publicly say much without risking league backlash and potential fines.

Kyle Monangai said he didn’t feel anything until he looked down at his thumb, at which point he said “that hurts”.
Hard to tell from just a picture but possibly broken right thumb..
If so, could be looking at a Jordan Mason pin/surgery situation.

The NFL announced today that line judge Jeff Seeman has been suspended 2 games and referee Adrian Hill 1 game for separate instances of unprofessional conduct toward a player.
Seeman’s incident occurred during Cardinals-Giants, while Hill’s occurred during Dolphins-Vikings.

More Ben Johnson on Tyson Bagent's start from Sunday:
"Some good and I think some that he wants back. So it's a little bit of a mixed bag. The best part was how he controlled the operation. I thought we had good tempo in and out of the huddle. I thought our guys played with a lot of confidence because of how he conducted himself. And he found completions. I thought he played an efficient football game. But you know, we put the ball in jeopardy too much. Fortunately, we did have a couple negated due to penalties. . . We have to do a better job protecting the football."
He mentioned how they are going to challenge Tyson to go downfield a little more.

Speaking of Kyle Monangai.....
In 2020, the #Bears traded TE Adam Shaheen to Miami for a conditional 2021 seventh-round pick. That pick turned into a 2021 sixth-round pick (208th overall in 2021).
The Bears then traded 208th overall to Seattle for 217th overall (Khalil Herbert) and 250th overall (Khyiris Tonga).
In 2024, the Bears traded Khalil Herbert to the Bengals for a 2025 seventh-round draft pick. That pick ended up being No. 233 overall.
The Bears used that pick to select Kyle Monangai.

Dre Greenlaw did not hold back when talking about his relationship with Sean Payton.
Greenlaw told @Eric_Branch his agent informed him of the Broncos releasing him in March: "(Payton) couldn’t be man to man and call my phone and say, ‘We’re going to cut you.’”
Spoke with Dre Greenlaw after the #49ers win. Why was he screaming at Sean Payton?
It was payback: disrepect for disrepect.
"I told him to get the f--- off the field. That's it: ‘Get the f--- off the field.'"
