May her memory be a blessing.
Captain Shir Eilat, 20, an IDF officer and commander of observation soldiers in the Border Defense Corps’ 414th Unit at Nahal Oz, led with exceptional composure on October 7, 2023, as Hamas terrorists stormed the base. She directed forces in real time, activated defensive systems against the attackers, and put her soldiers’ safety and morale first until the end. She fell in battle defending the outpost and the communities beyond it. May her memory be a blessing.

Wow, Haley Stevens just took a two by four to Abdul el-Sayed on CNN. She says he hasn’t done enough to denounce hate and that black and Jewish voters are telling her they are uncomfortable with him.

According to the book, Kushner got Tillerson fired for a $50 million UAE payment because Tillerson supported Qatar. This panicked Qatar because they realized Kushner was a pay-to-play operative, so they bought Kushner's New York City apartments, which were in the red, hoping this would help.
This book is really damning for Kushner. It claims the UAE paid Kushner $50 million to get Rex Tillerson fired as Secretary of State.

Just watch this. It’s genuinely disturbing. These ideologues are literally willing to sacrifice the wellbeing and health of children in the name of their so-called progressive values. Even babies. And these dangerous lunatics are everywhere. I know I bang on about this, but they are everywhere: in government, the media, the health service, sporting bodies, corporations, charities, schools, universities etc.. Gender ideology has metastasised like a raging cancer that destroys women’s rights and harms vulnerable kids. And this isn’t a fringe issue. As the song goes, ‘If you tolerate this, then your children will be next.’ And for some children, it’s already too late.
Highlight reel of Australia’s sex discrimination commissioner, the custodian of women’s rights, saying utter nonsense. It could on for hours but we’ve all got lives to lead so here’s 3 minutes.

I have no idea what’s coming, if anything. But when a former Defense Intelligence Agency employee shares advice like this (on top of the announcements I’ve seen from other nations), I take note. Go buy more food, maybe. Because this is weird.

The disease model of addiction arguably caused more harm than “chemical balance in the brain” or “born in the wrong body”. These simplistic explanations are liberating for the individual when they first hear about them but they’re damaging in the long run. Psychiatry’s arrogance causes long-term harm. Beware the simple explanation for complex human suffering.
Matthew Perry’s sister, Mia Perry Bowick, has told a new documentary about her brother’s life that his 2013 #Newsnight debate with Peter Hitchens was a “huge moment” in his decision to speak publicly about addiction and “show himself”. You can watch some of the debate here.

According to Le Monde, citing sources, U.S. special envoy Witkoff held a tense meeting in Florida on October 9 with Budanov, head of Ukraine’s Presidential Office. Sources claimed that Witkoff spoke to Budanov “like a child,” trying to “teach” him how to make money. Witkoff proposed a postwar “regional prosperity plan” that included fully restoring Russian oil and gas transit to Europe through Ukrainian territory. Witkoff argued that Ukraine would earn transit revenues while Europe would benefit from lower energy costs. Budanov reportedly replied that Ukraine’s model is “not Belarus, but Poland,” then stepped out to call President Zelenskyy, who advised him not to show any reaction. When the talks resumed, the Ukrainian side was shown a document outlining a U.S.-Russia diesel deal. An irritated Witkoff reportedly said: “Accept this diesel deal and stop striking Russian oil refineries — you are putting the world at risk!” Ukrainian participants were described as shocked, viewing the plan as creating dependency on Moscow and noting that the United States appeared to have secured nothing in return from Putin. A source close to the delegation told Le Monde: “I have never seen the Ukrainians so stunned and alarmed after a meeting.” Analysts contrasted the episode with the February 28, 2025 Oval Office incident, saying this one involves concrete policy decisions that could affect Ukraine’s ability to defend itself ahead of a potentially harsh winter. lemonde.fr/international/art…

Michael Pollan reveals how the introduction of caffeine completely changed human history and consciousness. "Before caffeine, it was a very different world and a very different consciousness. People were drunk a lot of the time, buzzed almost all of the time because it was safer than water" "Water was really how you got diseases. If you fermented things, even low alcohol, it killed a lot of the microbes. So people, even kids, drank hard cider for breakfast" "Tea, chocolate, and coffee all arrive in the same decade in England, and things start to change... no one ate or drank boiling water or hot beverages before" "Boiling it made it much safer. This gave this incredible public health boost to these places, and then you have the drug that fosters a kind of more linear, rational, focused way of thinking" "People in the 1600s started writing about it saying, 'Wow, we have this new civil and sober drink that we can use.' And that, I think, makes possible things like the Industrial Revolution"
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The clip repeats the myth that pre-caffeine people were mostly drunk because water was unsafe. Historians and medieval sources show water was commonly drunk from wells/springs while weak ale provided nutrition/calories, not a substitute for bad water. leslefts.blogspot.com/2013/11/the-gr… slate.com/human-interest… fakehistoryhunter.net/2026/02/02/dri…

In the 3 years since October 7th, Jews in the West have consistently been out protesting Netanyahu and Israel’s response. How come we’ve never seen Muslims in the West out protesting Hamas? Or protesting Hezbollah? The Iranian regime? Or any of the other Islamist regimes in the Middle East? How come we never see that?

Singling out Jews as the cause of economic pain is dangerous antisemitism. Thank you, @VanJones68, for speaking with moral clarity and once again defending the Jewish community by condemning this PAC ad.
I have spoken out against anti-Muslim hate in the Michigan Senate race. I will speak out just as loudly when the target is Jewish people. Let me state a little-known fact: ISRAEL GETS LESS THAN 0.1 PERCENT OF THE FEDERAL BUDGET. That’s less than one tenth of a percent! But there is an ad running that tells voters they can’t afford groceries because the United States gives so much money to Israel. In reality, the United States spends money in and on countries all around the world – but this ad singles out the Jewish state. The ad is as dangerous as it is dishonest. You can disagree with how the United States spends money abroad. But telling hungry families that the Jewish state is the reason they are suffering is wrong and shameful. Blaming Jews for people’s problems is an old story. Anybody who has read the last century of history knows where it leads. It is a dark pathway. This ad is anti-Jewish hate and should come down immediately. Abdul El-Sayed should denounce it today.

More prominent people saying this so plainly can only help. But action is still required to stop this catastrophic and treasonous turn.
"It cannot be stated often enough or vociferously enough: the Trump Administration is helping Russia to conquer Ukraine.  The United States of America has taken the side of an aggressor against its innocent victim." By my @AEI colleague @KoriSchake. aei.org/foreign-and-defense-…

Exactly as many of us have been saying for a long time
Former BBC Panorama producer @philcraig says the Beeb has been taken over by a “radical generation” and that “all the mistakes” in its Gaza coverage “seem to be in the same direction.” He points to the al-Ahli hospital blast, when the BBC rushed to blame Israel for what turned out to be a misfired Hamas rocket, and warns this kind of poor journalism has helped fan fires around the world — including literal fires at synagogues. Gerald and I are proud to call Phil a friend and colleague. Thank you for the clarity and courage in calling out your former employer. thejc.com/news/uk/bbc-is-bia…

Israel was the first middle eastern country to give Muslim women the right to vote. They’re exercising it today and will likely sway the election. Israel is extraordinarily bad at apartheid and genocide.

.@dr_owenanderson is the rare professor who refused to surrender to white guilt. You should follow him to keep up with his ongoing case against @ASU and to see courage in action.
On 12-10-20 I received this email from my director at ASU. The email tells us to decolonize our curriculum and includes a link to a page that explains what this means. On that page, we are told that decolonizing means taking out "elite white men" who are the colonial legacy of oppression. Does that seem like ideological bias to you? I have any more such emails all on public ASU email. Also, ASU ruled that Owen Anderson's classes are too Christian. @CivilRights @HarmeetKDhillon @ASU @ASUNewCollege

We will wish we had listened to these warnings before the massive attack that is coming. To summarize: all code has bugs, continuous attacks by thousand of AI agents guarantees that they WILL eventually find their way into any website/database/system. So we need a new way of thinking about defense.
The cyber tsunami isn't a future prediction. It's here already. As I’ve said before, all code is buggy. And recent events continue to prove this, at scale  The exposure we just witnessed from vulnerabilities in the PHP engine made evident the buggy truth far faster than anyone in the industry expected. PHP powers 70% of the web. For years, deep engine vulnerabilities inside platforms like Zend were known, but widely ignored because the industry assumed they were too complex for human attackers to weaponize. AI just flipped that assumption on its head. By drastically lowering the cost and time required to find exploits, AI models discovered attack paths that human developers couldn't easily see or predict. Attackers are no longer just exploiting custom application code; they are cracking open the underlying platform engines that power millions of websites simultaneously. The waves are coming ashore.   AI creates "toxic combinations" by chaining together lower-priority bugs that seem harmless on their own. A Priority 3 bug today can easily become a Priority 0 crisis tomorrow when a smarter model finds a new way to connect the dots. In short: cyber attacks have moved beyond human comprehension. The hard truth for every CEO and Board member is that much of the legacy cybersecurity playbook was built for a human-comprehension era. Those tools and assumptions are now obsolete. You cannot patch your way out of a tsunami. When every piece of software is penetrable under continuous AI analysis, the strategy has to change. Prevention alone is no longer enough The ultimate metric is cyber resilience. You must assume breach, and preemptively plan to protect your core, critical operations, and ensure that your business can get back up and running the moment the water reaches you.  It is rising around us all.

It’s a very good movie but if your takeaway is that Elizabeth Holmes might be a neurodivergent victim I think you have forcibly disconnected yourself from reality. More specifically, she *obviously* gets The Who’s on First joke—and is profoundly motivated to pretend she doesn’t.
