Word on the street is that one Seyi Lasisi wrote, in the words of @IIIIHela, a "sizzling 🔥" review of @MamiWatamovie for @afrocritik. You know what to do, right? Watch the film. Read the review. Share your thoughts. Eseee.

again, one of the pleasures of being a Nigerian film critic is having the rare opportunity to watch a GREAT film and interview its director.
spoke with @ChuGailx about Her Daughters' Mother after watching it few weeks ago.

Delete that hope. We wanted to use scenes from Village Headmaster in Eyimofe, my aunty was DG of NTA International and managed to get one episode. She said instead of archiving they taped over old tapes.

there was a conversation about the Nollywood Big 3 days ago. that convo prompted some questions: how well do we know Nollywood, how dangerous is historical and cultural amnesia to Nollywood, and how do we preserve Nollywood's history?
thanks to @molarawood , @Ms_Ojo , and
@DikaOfoma(who couldn't comment due to his heavy schedule), i wrote about these questions.
