Tl:Dr of it: Yep there was a difficulty spike. But-- After completing one character Part 2 my reaction was: "I get to do this again 3 more times? Awesome."

I don't blame ya for going that route. Its certainly an option. I just really enjoy the gameplay so I haven't felt the need to move on and finish. Only thing I've changed is not being stingy with the Blessings. I just use and abuse them now.

That's one character Part 2 down... Only three more to go 😤

Close my eyes and all I see are Elephant's.... (I will say the maps are setup in a way where you don't have to deal with them... that much.)

Literally the elephants in Part 2 Chapter 4 (bridge) of Theodora while I'm just trying to keep people alive and stick to the objective.

After I'm done with all characters Part 2, idk which I'm gonna hate more: 30 FPS in games Or Elephants.

Going into surface level details on my thoughts here. And I will put it more politely here since some of you get hurt easily: If you played on Normal, I don't need your opinion. I want people who only played on Hard. In Part 1 you are limited in all Part 1 to about maybe 6 to 9 units in every story map. Not to mention Maps and Dungeons you're limited to 6. But in Part 2 you're allowed 15 or 16 units. Which it seems they want you to fill because the amount of enemies thrown your way is kinda crazy. Now it does provide you with units if you can't fill that 15 or 16 BUT we all know custom units you recruited and leveled are going to be waaaay better than units the game gives you. So now we back to Part 1 recruitment requirements and there are some characters that require less requirements to recruit but you still need to go and recruit the higher ones when you get higher renown and then level them but by the time you get that you have 2 or 3 chapters to go and a certain number of turns.... I got more thoughts but this is just off the top of my head.

Finished Dietruch's Part 1. And with that all Part 1s are done after 125 hours 😤. I now go to war! Part 2.

I get we want to have turn based back in Final Fantasy but is this really a fair comparison? Rebirth released on PS5 first. I would say Revelation would be a better comparison but even then you gotta play two other games to play it...
