I don’t know why this doesn’t get discussed enough but three days bereavement leave in the UK is absolutely diabolical. If that’s your parent or sibling you are going to be unable to focus at work or anything in life for months

Maybe the question isn’t “who does this person think they are trying to call me out?” But “why do I feel a way or go into defence/attack mode when people express that I’ve done something to hurt them?”

Yesterday was 2 years since my brother passing. This is one of the first things I saw on social yesterday. Explaining grief as unexpressed love and using art to sew up the wounds is a beautiful articulation of one of the most complex and dark feelings we’ll ever have.
