🤔 This East Indian man is married to a white woman but he took time, like many in praising Black women for turning out to vote in spite of how society mistreats us.
I thanked him for his support. I do feel it was genuine. However. I had to check him on something that bothered me in his presentation.
Let me be clear. And this is to all, especially those who voted for Trump, including many immigrants, in 2024 but really thought that Foundational Black Americans would be the only ones to suffer. Yeah. We saw it. This country voted a criminal, narcissist and arrogant man into the highest position in the land! TWICE!
Historically. Black women have always voted on a meal advocacy basis for EVERYBODY but we can see on social media, as well as general society how you feel about us.
Black women didn't turn out to vote for America! We voted for US! Our children, and for a future that truly embodies what America 🇺🇸 is supposed to stand for.
This was a collective strategy of great minds, organizers and powerful individuals coming together to remove what is broken from this country.
Don't ever think that you will play in our face! We will then hold a mirror to yours. @BlackAlphaNetw1 @B1TuckerCarlson @BlackHockeyClu1 @TheBlackChannel @Soulful1865

To the Black women standing on the right side of history: You show up for a country that rarely shows up for you. Despite the relentless scapegoating, the anti-DEI attacks, the misogynoir, and being expected to carry the weight alone, you stood on the front lines once again and defended democracy.
You lead with power, principle, and an unmatched commitment to freedom, even when other communities fail to reciprocate, and even when people within our own community trade solidarity for proximity to power, self-enrichment, and Whiteness.
You deserve far more than thank-yous after an election; you deserve protection, respect, resources, and your flowers every single day. We see you, we honor you, and we owe you. 🙏🏽💙💐
