Loads of rain due tomorrow.
If a #flood was heading your way, would you know what to do? I doubt it, as your mind will turn to spaghetti in panic.
Plan NOW write it down
move your car
Move precious memories up stairs
Empty low down cupboards
Lift anything off the ground you can

The UK rail network isn't as bad as we make out. It's a dense network, accounts for 20% of all rail journeys in Europe, punctuality is roughly the same as other western European networks, and safety is well above average. It's on-the-day ticket prices that let it down.

A sadly unsurprising dip in today’s stats. We’ve been building health out of streets & baking pollution in. It’s a road we can’t afford, that takes us to a place we don’t want to live.
We get what we build for, so let’s start building something better.

Thanks SO much to the wonderful people of Nether Edge, where we recorded the last ‘In Town’ of the series. Their story of a community battling to save their trees is glorious, and a special mention for Benoit the French magician, mon sorcier activiste préfère.

Crossbow killings are incredibly rare in the UK, yet law changes are being considered regarding their sale. But drive a Land Rover into a school, killing school children, and there's no law change consideration for such vehicles. Why is this @YvetteCooperMP? @RoadPeace

It seems amazing to me that we are having no political discussion whatsoever on how to reverse our obesity and health crisis that costs nearly £90 billion annually with simple measures like expanding the sugar tax or putting warnings on UPFs .
