What would it look like for a lab to publish a human comparison before anyone requests one? That's a standard worth encouraging.
Drop 2/15
Are we actually measuring the things we ultimately want our voice AI models to achieve?
The best AI voices are becoming hard to tell apart.
From each other. Not from humans.
🚀 Introducing Turing TTS: an evaluation that measures how often human listeners mistake AI-generated speech for real human speech.
We tested leading TTS models against real human speech. Even the best model fooled listeners only ~10% of the time.
With Turing TTS, we hope to contribute to a broader discussion within the research community about how we measure progress in voice AI.
If one of our goals is to develop speech that is indistinguishable from human speech, how well do our current evaluation methods capture progress toward that goal?
We don’t claim that Turing TTS is the right way forward, or that human indistinguishability should be the goal of every TTS system.
Rather, we hope these findings encourage the community to collectively examine whether blind pairwise human evaluations of naturalness are sufficient, and what else we might need to measure.
Results are now live on @voicearena_ai.

Small business owners, you don't need to make every product video from scratch. CapCut PC's Black Friday deal is on its final day: 60% off Pro and 40% off Ultra. Showing the same product in a series of Halloween-inspired settings is an easy way to build a seasonal promo concept. When I have lots of clips to work through, Batch Editing helps with repetitive tasks. After that, I can focus on choosing the strongest scenes and polishing the final product close-ups.

19 days ago I gave my AI employee two standing jobs in Slack. He started a third one himself, and I have barely touched any of them since.
I'm Swati. I handle content and outreach for a small app studio, and I post about AI tools for a living.
Here is what arrives on its own now.
Every morning, 8:01 AM: a brief. What needs me, what is waiting on others, what changed overnight. He set that one up before I ever asked.
Monday, 9:02 AM: the AI tools digest. First Monday it ranked 6 new tools with the big news and 3 tweet ideas. This Monday it ranked 10, every one dated and sourced, and one entry openly marked as vendor claims he had not verified.
Friday, 5:00 PM: team status pulled from our #project and #teamtron channels. On a quiet week his note said quiet week, and he asked me for channel access instead of inventing an update.
That honesty is why this works. Every delivery lands as a draft with a note: reply with changes and I will adjust. I say yes, or I edit. Nothing leaves my workspace without my approval.
And he keeps finding work. Week one he offered me a brand-deal desk for sponsorship pitches and turning digest picks into ready-to-post threads. I never asked for either.
About 5 hours of weekly gathering, compiling and formatting now just happen. I spend those hours on client work instead.
Most AI tells you what to do. Viktor does it.
If your team could use a hire like this: @viktor_com, free to start.

John Rayhan is a cognizant employee who stalks indian girls linkedin and try to doxx them by tagging google and it's CEO to fire them, living in USA the sepoy is trying hard to be accepted by the whites.
{Or what if he just pretends and doesn't update his LinkedIn to flex, what if he is still working in Hyderabad office of Cognizant)
That's more pathetic.
Hey Belcan Cognizant, do you concur with this acerbic petty cheap pdffile ? Is he breaking your employee code by doxxing indian employees?

Response 4: The “Strategic Tease”
Send a photo in a well-fitted suit or tailored outfit.
“You get the teaser. The rest is reserved for when we’re behind closed doors.”
Why it works: It keeps things attractive without becoming explicit. A confident pose, sharp outfit, and subtle mystery can create far more intrigue than simply giving someone everything they asked for.
