Our first West Cobb CCC learning walk was amazing! Compton, Clarkdale, and Dowell have great things happening with teaching and learning. @SheaThomas71 @dwan_jones @DowellElementa1 @Comptoncubs @hollydalerocks @Varner_Vikings @PowderSpringsES

When my career is over… I don’t think I’ll remember our test scores or our curriculum maps. But I WILL remember some kids, and some teachers… and custodians, and nurses, and secretaries, and paras, and counselors, and SROs, and CNP workers. It is the people that matter to me.

Building relationships with your students and staff is not that complicated. Talk to them. Care about them. Be genuine. #CLASConv21

Treat people right. Appreciate them, encourage them, support them and make them feel like they matter (because they do). Do this at home, at work, at school, at the store, etc. Do this with people you know and people you don't. Try your best every day to make someone else's day.

Expectations prompt your staff to do a good job. Appreciation motivates to go above & beyond it. Expectations are Important but appreciation is more Important.

Please join me in praying for Dana as she battles COVID-19. We’re encouraged to see the outpouring of support from her school, community, and donors, and we ask all Georgians to keep Dana and all who are battling the virus in their thoughts and prayers. bit.ly/3mT6rU9

I was so proud of the thoughts, dialogue, and questions these photographs have already inspired in our students. Thank you to the Besharat Foundation for making this possible. We are grateful.
Our staff and students were authentically inspired by The Faces of Innocence provided by the Besharat Foundation. This artwork is just stunning! #BeALighthouse #EngageEnrichEmpower
