Last week a Braves fan wearing a @DaleMurphy3 jersey was doing everything he could to get Austin Riley to throw my son a baseball in between every inning. Finally Riley got my son one.
It was only right to tell this fan my dad wanted to thank him for helping his grandson get a game ball. He had to have been confused when I asked him if my dad could thank him. But then the call connected.
Baseball is magical.
