I'm the new Chapter Lead for @arc Pakistan 🇵🇰
Pakistanis abroad sent home a record $41.6B last year.
Yet millions of Pakistani freelancers still can't open a PayPal account.
The money arrives. The rails fail the people earning it.
I'm here to fix that.
Thank you @bobbilee, @samconnerone and the Arc team for trusting me with this.
Builders, we're open:

this is the problem i keep hearing from freelancers here. fees, slow withdrawals, frozen accounts. rehman is building a fix on arc, usdc payments with onchain milestone escrow. still early, but builders solving their own problems is the point 🇵🇰
I'm building PurpX from Pakistan 🇵🇰
I know how frustrating it can be for freelancers to receive payments across borders.
High platform fees. Slow withdrawals. Payment restrictions. Frozen accounts.
And this isn't just a Pakistan problem. Freelancers worldwide face these barriers.
That's why I'm building @PurpXxyz on @arc a wallet and freelance work ecosystem with USDC payments and on-chain milestone escrow.
The goal is simple: make global freelance work more accessible.
We're building. More soon 👀
when i was 7 i was trading items on the runescape grand exchange.
at 16 i started my first company.
my edge back then was simple. i figured things out faster than the people around me.
ai just gave that edge to everyone.
so the question isn't who figures it out fastest anymore.
it's who knows what's worth figuring out.
researchers scanned 159,041 lovable projects and found thousands of apps where anyone could read the data without logging in. passport numbers, payment details, private chats.
nobody hacked them. the door was just never locked.
ai made building an app an afternoon job. it didn't make knowing what you shipped an afternoon job.
i build with ai every day. the build is the easy part now. the boring checks after it are the actual work.
this year i was in zurich for point zero forum.
probably the youngest in most rooms. central bankers, regulators, people doing this longer than i've been alive.
what stuck wasn't stablecoins. it was ai agents that don't recommend a payment, they make it.
the tech works. trust doesn't yet. if an agent moves money wrong, who's responsible?
would you let an ai pay without asking you first?
tomorrow 8pm pakistan time, arc studio live on arc house with sam and the team. prompt to onchain app, then q&a. if you have an idea and no dev team, come try it 🇵🇰

stripe just opened stablecoin payouts to wallets in 160+ markets.
us businesses can send usdc in minutes, not days.
in pakistan freelancers still wait on wires that bounce, or take crypto under the table.
the rail is catching up to how people already get paid.
US businesses can now send stablecoin payouts to crypto wallets in 160+ markets with @stripe Global Payouts, typically arriving in minutes.
Send OUSD or USDC directly from fiat or stablecoin balances in Stripe Treasury, with Stripe handling conversion as needed.
trading on arc is live. stablecoins, cirbtc, tokenized assets, lending and dexs on one stablecoin-native chain
for builders here that means the usdc rails your app pays out on are the same ones everything else settles on 🫡
Trading on Arc is already live.
Stablecoins, cirBTC, tokenized assets, lending markets, DEXs, aggregators, and derivatives infrastructure now share one stablecoin-native execution environment.
For teams building onchain markets, Arc brings trading, collateral, liquidity, and settlement closer together.

Talent is rare.
Know what's rarer?
The ability to sit at your desk for 12 hours a day, say no to everything, take risk, work without reward and grind the work regardless of motivation.
Talented people fail all the time. The grinder's destroy and conquer. Be the latter.
welcome welcome 🇿🇦
Arc House 🇿🇦 South Africa chapter is live!!!
say hello to the first established chapter lead @SokoYaliwe kicking off the team there.
Yaliwe is a blockchain leader and Chairwoman of the United Africa Blockchain Association (UABA), where she drives policy and adoption across African nations, engaging regulators, central banks, and financial institutions to create enabling environments for Web3 innovation. She's also a globally recognized speaker and former Stellar Southern Africa President, she leads transformative initiatives including Africa's largest blockchain education campaign, Zambia's first blockchain-for-social-good pilot project (in partnership with government and regulators), and the UABA Startup Initiative connecting African tech founders with venture capital. Lastly she has been honored as a Top 10 African Woman in Blockchain and a MIPAD Class of 2024 honoree.
WOW, I KNOW. we cannot wait to work with her too. i will be assisting the build out of this chapter team over the next few weeks with Yaliwe.

if you're young in pakistan, have a startup idea and no one around you to ask how to start, this is for you.
from november i'll run free online startup sessions, once or twice a month. you pick the topics.
i see a lot of young people with real drive get stuck on the same basics. if what i've learned building businesses helps even a few of them, it's worth it.
comment "in" if you'd join. if enough of you do, i'll drop a google form with topics and the most votes decides the first session.
this one matters. any token on arc can now move cross-chain with circle's burn and mint, no bridges, no wrapped versions. fewer things to break, fewer things to get hacked
i'm 26. dutch-pakistani. first company at 16. at 23, a year in abu dhabi running asia expansion for a blockchain company. now @arc chapter lead in pakistan. based between amsterdam and islamabad. pakistani builders: what are you shipping? reply with it, i want to see it.

i was one of the early web3 community people in pakistan. organizing conferences, building the community from the ground up.
if i had to do it again from zero, i'd do it in this order:
1. meetups. get people in the same room first.
2. education. real courses with universities, local communities and incubators.
3. a local hackathon track, so the learning turns into something shipped.
skip the meetups and nobody shows up.
skip the education and the hackathon is the same 10 people every time.
skip the hackathon and you've built a very nice classroom.
a community is only real once it ships.
signed up for the Super plan a week ago.
this morning I was at 37% of my weekly usage, and tonight I'm at 80% with nothing changed on my side. If serving costs changed, fine, but paying customers should hear about it before the meter speeds up mid-week, not after..
