AI productivity can mean two things:
- Doing more work in the same time.
- Or doing the same work in less time, and getting part of your life back.
Both are valid. But they lead to very different lives.
The real question is not only how AI helps us do more, but what we choose to do with the time it gives us back.
My take on the topic: shmilov.com/post/ai-producti… #AI #productivity
Saw a few analysts teasing AirJoule and it sent me down the rabbit hole on AWG. Cool tech. Real need. Much harder investing story.
I wrote about this, and the gap between innovative tech and durable business.

Many said AI would kill Google Search, but Google’s moat is deepening in the age of AI. It isn’t reacting to AI. It’s leading it.
- Search traffic is up
- Ads are still booming
- Now Meta & Apple are knocking
I wrote some of my thoughts on $GOOG and AI.

I’m building EcoMoat solo, brick by brick.
Today I shipped the “generate-or-skip” system: an update with impact on scale and quality.

Not easy to do, but very important. A quote by Jack Dorsey.

Many are building smarter investing tools.
But clarity is still rare.
In design, simplicity takes effort. Same in investing.
Here’s my take on why “simple” is hard—and how to navigate.

AI image lawsuits (like Disney vs. Midjourney) aren’t just noise - they’re reshaping the industry.
Meanwhile, Adobe’s been building an IP-safe moat for years. Firefly, CAI… it’s all adding up.
I wrote about why Adobe might be well prepared:

My investment journey; from Buffett to behavioral, moats to valuation, timeless classics to niche gems.
This isn’t just a bookshelf — it’s a reminder that compounding knowledge is the real edge.
What’s missing from the shelf?

I’ve used Morningstar for years. I still do.
But a few years ago, I realized something was missing — and that’s why now, when the tech & AI enabled me, I built EcoMoat.
Here’s a personal look at two very different approaches to analyzing economic moats.
Picked up the Ray-Ban Meta glasses on a family trip to Paris (yes, including a Disney stop). Cool tech, but not what I expected.
Not a “new platform”—just a smoother way to feed content back into Meta’s ecosystem. Useful? I think so. Moat-widening? Not yet.

Today we are adding logos to the companies analyzed on EcoMoat. A nice addition to improve the user experience and add some color.
I saw a Cybertruck today for the first time in real life. It is just different from anything else stuck in the busy traffic of Tel Aviv.
First of many; a brand power analysis of a large business with a strong bran ecosystem - starting with Kraft Heinz. Follow EcoMoat for more.
I’ve been fascinated by the Titanic story for years - today it’s a perfect reminder for me of how we might be blindly trusting “unsinkable” AI.
