Fun Fact🦄

🎬 I forked and revised a PyShiny app from the extended-shiny-gallery repository. Here’s what was broken and what I fixed. The original life-of-pi app had problems that kept it from running as intended: some modules were not functional, package version conflicts broke the setup, and dysfunctional button. I forked the repository and revised the code so these issues are resolved🍴. What the app does: This app estimates the value of π with a Monte Carlo simulation: it drops random points into a square that encloses a unit circle, then counts the share that land inside the circle. Since that share approximates π/4, multiplying it by four gives an estimate of π. The method is named after the Welsh mathematician William Jones, who first used the symbol π in 1706🧮. What changed in this fork: 1.Repaired the non-functional modules 2. Resolved the dependency and version conflicts 3. Restore the function of the run button The code is open for anyone to read, run, and adapt. Issues and pull requests are welcome. 🔗 github.com/Johnkecops/extend… #Python #Shiny #PyShiny #OpenSource #DataVisualization #Bioinformatics
