ALT • survey of 81 mothers and fathers between april 2021 and april 2021 in Germany • siblings' mental health was mostly comparable to general pre-pandemic norms - no impact of the pandemic on siblings • siblings even showed lower levels of conduct problems and hyperactivity than the pre-pandemic norm sample

ALT Siblings' experience during pediatric intensive care hospitalization: Healthy siblings visiting a brother or sister in the PICU may be affected by critical illness or injury. The PICU environment, appearance of their ill sibling, uncertainty surrounding the illness and hospitalization, and changes within the family unit may affect their experiences. The impact of critical illness or injury in siblings may last for an in- determinate time beyond the PICU admission.

ALT - When mothers reported higher levels of psychological distress, they also reported more mental health problems in siblings in the family - When families were living in poverty, mothers, siblings, and the child with learning disability had poorer mental health - Siblings who had a disability themselves were also more likely to have mental health difficulties
