A Sudanese-born Prof of law, Abdullahi Ahmed An-Na'im advised Nigerians Muslims to learn from Sudanese experience with regard to enforcement of Sharia as a state policy.

This is unacceptable. She is pregnant, yet you kept dragging her in this manner. And don't even claim you were unaware that she’s pregnant. Must you drag a lady like this?
She also claimed she’s not a resident of Ilorin is that not enough reason for you to pardon her???
The Ilorin police are overdoing things. What was the money she transferred even for?
This is too toxic😟🤦♀️

Do you remember Mr. Michael Olugbade Oyedokun, the teacher who was kidnapped and brutally killed earlier this year during the attack on schoolchildren in Esin-Ele, Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State?
Today, his family and community are holding his final burial rites.
May God grant his family the strength to bear this painful loss, comfort everyone affected by this tragedy, and grant his soul eternal rest.
Rest in peace, Mr. Michael Olugbade Oyedokun. Your service and contributions will not be forgotten.
One question I keep coming back to is this: how is his burial being conducted when his body has not been released? How do you lay someone to rest without having their remains?

How the name "Owo Eyo" was derived?
Ijebus were the first Yoruba speaking people to invent money system known as "PANDORO".
The empire was big on Aso oke trade, metal work and metal production, so it decided to create their own coins. They were called Owo Ijebu, and many nations in Africa and Europe accepted the coins.

She raised my father
When my father dïêd a couple of years ago, I couldn't inform her
"Deji, daddy e nko" (Deji, how is your dad?"
" Alafia ni daddy mi wa" (He's fine)
"So fun ko wa rimi o" (Tell your dad to come and see me)
" Yes, ma"
That was our routine conversation
How will I break the demise of the one she backed and raised to her without preparing for her dêæth as well?
Now that you're gone, I'm glad that you slept with the assurance that your omo meji (the twins) are alive
Rest on till the resurrection morning, Iya Olobi

School reunion is a scam… Nobody is missing anyone; they just want to know whether you have made it in life or not.

I just saw news of a Christian woman sentenced to 14 years in prison in Borno State for allegedly sharing her faith with a Muslim woman who chose to convert to Christianity.
Fourteen years for sharing your faith. Let that sink in.
It happened in a Sharia state, and the silence is deafening. An adult woman should be free to choose her religion without anyone going to prison for it.
Then we turn around and tell the world Islam is a religion of peace. What kind of peace punishes people for freedom of belief? 😞

Not true. Your claim is an urban myth popularised by blogs. He was born in 1896 and named Kofoworola John Adekunle Abayomi
Replying to @HistoryVille
Your narration is not wholly correct. Kofoworola took on the surname of Moronfolu Abayomi in 1930 as a precondition given by Oyinkasola before she agreed to marry him. His original name was Kofoworola John.
