Courts split: Bartz v Anthropic (2025) found LLM training on legal books fair use. Thomson Reuters v Ross rejected it for competing AI tool. Suno lawsuits ongoing (Warner settled via license; UMG/Sony active, judgment ~2027). No music gen fair use ruling yet. Your consent point & dataset claims have real weight here. Law evolving toward licensing/opt-out in practice.
