A community tree-planting day at Lahulske Arboretum, Prostir Liubovi ecovillage 🌳
After a good overnight rain, yesterday we finally planted the first hundred oak and maple trees. Planting spots have already been marked out across a much larger area, so the work continues.
We are also continuing our cooperation with the local forestry enterprise. Their team provides training and practical recommendations on planting.
This work is supported by @maearthstudio regeneration funding rounds and @Artizen tree-planting round.
Alongside the planting, we are recording the trees in the @SilviProtocol app, building a digital record of the work on the ground.
👀
Join us for the 1st of 3 training sessions, starting on Sept 17th, 4–5pm CET. We've teamed up with @ReFiDAOist to onboard the first wave of curated crowdlending campaigns from local nodes and member projects, thanks to a generous grant from the network initiatives funding pool.
In this onboarding session, you'll learn how to take a campaign from idea to live: setting funding goals and accepted tokens, understanding the two-token design, staking mechanics, harvest reporting, and redemption options plus $GROW, the network token that spreads risk and reward across the community, backed by revenues from an basket of campaigns chosen by the community.

The last round in 2024, we received $8k in matching from 64 donors. With that funding we planted a 2 hectare 1000 tree food forest verified on @SilviProtocol
With that amount in this round we can upgrade our 2 current land sites and expand to a 3rd.
Learn about the round here.
Sat down with @matthewmonahan and @holkexyz to talk about their $1M Quadratic Funding round, taking the lessons from @gitcoin Grants/QF and applying them to local regeneration and public goods outside Ethereum.
Topics: @hypercerts, measurable impact, and building coordination tools normal people can actually use. Better coordination creates better communities.
Listen below + Donate to the round (July 1–21) via the url in the first comment.

In practice, this means anyone in the world can sign up, plant a tree, track it over time, and get paid when it lives. Draw a shape around a location and get planting recommendations based on rainfall, soil, and local conditions. Verified outcomes at every stage.

Earlier this year, we launched our first Bioregional Reforestation Campaign, raising $100k in matching funds to support grassroots stewards across 8 ecoregions. 10,000 trees planted and counting.
We're just getting started.
