“Nyoni needs to start taking risks because all he does is back pass and side ways” is so far from the truth. If you don’t watch the game at least watch his game highlights please because we ain’t spreading false narratives about that kid 🤞🏽

THE AFRICAN NUNO MENDES.
Stade Rennais have a real gem on their hands.

This isn’t me hating on the manager, he’s doing a good job. Yes squad rotation and load management is important. My point for those who have poor comprehension skills, it’s also important to build relationships between players on the pitch. Changing 6 players won’t build that.
Dom Szoboszlai is a massive problem for LFC, think hes fucking crap me and have said this for ages, hes been at the club 4/5 years and still no-one knows what he is, id be fucking selling him in the summer and raising some money for the squad, his ego is a joke aswell
Iraola has shown a bit of inexperience with the way he’s overly rotating for cups. 2-3 is fine but 6 changes is a lot. Especially for a team that is still building chemistry. He’s probably not used to having to juggle Europe as well as the league. He’ll learn from this.
Szoboszlai’s fan club definitely do not support the club, they support him. I’m convinced a lot of them just fancy him. It’s okay to criticise him, it doesn’t make him a bad player. The club should come first but there’s man on here that will kiss their Szobo posters before bed👍🏽
Really hope this kids career doesn’t go down the pan because he’s got talent in abundance. But complaining about lack of game time and going to a club who are pretty stacked in your position is a bit wild
🚨 JJ Gabriel expected to sign for Real Madrid from Manchester United in Jan. Interest from likes of PSG, Barcelona, Bayern Munich + #MUFC tried to retain but 16yo attacker chose #RMFC & set to join on long-term contract subject to FIFA regs @TheAthleticFC nytimes.com/athletic/7596852…
Predicted XI’s for today then?
Personally only want to see 3-4 changes max, I think the attack especially would benefit from playing a little more regularly together, with the addition of Rio.
All banter aside, I get United have issues with their owners but the lack of fight from their players on the pitch is shocking, these man really don’t care
This was a good watch. Context behind data in football is so important 🤞🏽
Ran some numbers! Really interesting stuff came out.
Main takeaways: Iraola is performing exactly as predicted in terms of expectations vs Slot last season was largely underperforming both with 15 points.
BCC not an elite forecaster of future points, GD and points is better.

I’m not sure I’ll ever fully understand why football fans, have an expectation that every signing is going to live up to the sky high expectations we put on them.
It’s not that I don’t understand excitement or positivity about signings, because it’s always fun. But not every signing is going to improve by x amount just because they cost x amount.
Speaking as someone who does it for a living and knows the data behind it, even the best clubs, in terms of recruitment and scouting (ie Brighton, Brentford etc), only “hit” on about 60% of signings.
For the elite clubs, that’s always going to be lower, because the criteria for a “hit” is very different. Which is why you have to know when to go for it and when to hedge your bets.
Look at Liverpool and our big signings. Alisson, Van Dijk, Szobo, Jacquet and Ekitike have worked out imo, where as others like Wirtz, Isak, Nunez, Barcola and Naby Keita either didn’t work or have yet to fully show it.
That’s just around the 50% mark, which is kind of what is statistically expected for signings in terms of working out.
I’m not saying fans shouldn’t be excited or have expectations for signings, but to expect every signing to work out and live up to those expectations is just never going to happen.
