Never Forget.
Twenty-five years later, the National Weather Service joins the nation in remembering the 2,977 lives taken on September 11, 2001, and the families still carrying that day.
We honor the victims. We honor the first responders who ran toward danger. We honor the courage shown in New York, at the Pentagon, and in the skies over Pennsylvania.
To those who serve, protect, and keep watch every day: we stand with you.
Everything about this incident screams that they should have gone around
Landed late, steep, and fast. Going around fixes all of this. Likely pilot error.

For those who missed last night’s lunar eclipse, this incredible photo was shared with me by @Simcoe12_Wx. It’s almost like the moon is in the room with him.
Truly a talented astrophotographer. @AustinDeSisto — you have competition.
