I wonder what our teen selves would think seeing us like this now . . . what we've done as people, as a band . . how we ended up — married, with daughters I just . . .
. . . I think about that a lot. hard not to . . feels like yesterday we were fucking around in my parents

Get you where you wanna go, if you know what I mean
Got a ride that's smoother than a limousine
Can you handle the curves? Can you run all the lights?
If you can, baby boy, then we can go all night
'Cause I'm zero to sixty in 3.5
Baby, you got the keys
Now shut up and drive ——
easy to do when you're you . . .
( she'd turn around in his arms and just . . . lean against him, arms around his neck as she used him as a leaning post. )
I love you, Frankie . . . so, so much . . . always have . . . always you . . .
comes pretty damn easy with you, dear . . .
( which was the honest truth. she really did feel so relaxed these days. she didn't worry nearly as much, she didn't care what others thought.
she had her Frankie. had her family. her band. her creativity.
she was so . . happy. )
( she'd hum out at his gentle affection and turned her head, pressing a kiss to his cheek right back. )
my goddamn handsome husband . . .
( warmth bloomed over her cheeks at the gesture, smiling to herself as she placed her hands over his and slowly began to sway ; head tilting back a little . . resting and leaning against him . . . god. she couldn't be happier.
everything happens for a reason. )
( he should take it in. it wasn't often Gee sang normally around the house but . . . she was really vibing with her playlist today so . . . Frankie got to hear it. )
