LAMZU MAYA X V2 Review
The LAMZU MAYA X V2 is an updated version of the original MAYA X, bringing updated internals while retaining the original shape. At first glance, it doesn't seem like much, but the V2 offers the latest hardware, and the new sensor fixes all potential issues with glass and metal pads.
One of my favorite aspects of the MAYA X V2 is its overall shape. Despite being a larger mouse, it remains surprisingly comfortable across palm, claw, and fingertip grips. The finish is another highlight, reminding me quite a bit of the Fnatic special edition in terms of its overall feel.
After testing the MAYA X V2, I've found it to be a well-rounded mouse with a comfortable shape, satisfying clicks, solid construction, and reliable tracking.
Shape & Comfort
The MAYA X V2 features a centered hump with tapered sides, creating a shape that provides a good balance between support and freedom of movement. Despite its larger size, I find it surprisingly comfortable across palm, claw, and fingertip grips.
The middle hump provides a comfortable point of contact without feeling overly intrusive. At the same time, the tapered sides allow for natural finger placement. The overall shape feels well-balanced, offering enough support for users who prefer more contact with the mouse while still accommodating those who prefer a lighter, more agile grip.
Overall, the shape is one of the MAYA X V2's strongest selling points. If you're looking for a larger, symmetrical mouse that accommodates different grip styles, this is definitely worth considering.
Coating & Build Quality
The coating features a slightly textured finish that provides a nice dry feel in hand. It offers enough texture to maintain a comfortable grip without the need for any grips. Personally, I don't think grip tape is necessary unless you have particularly sweaty hands or prefer additional grip.
Build quality is another strong point. The shell feels solid, with no noticeable flex or creaking when applying pressure or using the mouse normally. Nothing about the construction feels flimsy, and the mouse feels well put together.
Overall, I have no complaints about the coating or build quality. The stock finish is comfortable enough that I wouldn't feel the need to modify it, and the lack of noticeable flex or creaking is always a plus. The right side is slightly more tapered inward to accommodate your ring and pinky finger. In contrast, the left side is slightly more rounded to accommodate your thumb.
Main Clicks & Scroll Wheel
The main clicks feel really good, offering a crisp and responsive experience. There's no noticeable pre-travel, and post-travel is minimal, giving the clicks a clean and crisp feel when pressed.
I particularly enjoy how defined the clicks feel. They don't feel mushy or sluggish, and the overall experience is consistent throughout use. For a mouse intended for competitive gaming, having clicks that feel this crisp is a definite plus. The scroll wheel is another highlight. It feels nice and spammable without any mushiness, making it comfortable to use during gameplay. Whether you're switching weapons, navigating menus, or scrolling through content, the wheel feels responsive and consistent.
The side buttons are also positioned well, allowing for natural thumb movement when reaching for them. I don't have to make awkward adjustments to my grip to press them, which is especially important when using them frequently during gameplay.
Sensor & Performance
One of the main differences between the MAYA X V2 and the original MAYA X is the updated internal hardware. The original MAYA X already offered a PAW3950 sensor and 8K polling support. The V2 moves to the newer PAW NEXT I sensor, alongside an updated controller and revised internal components. It provides more stability at higher polling rates without overloading the MCU. It also supports up to 8K polling over both wired and wireless connections. In my testing, the MAYA X V2 has been very stable. I haven't experienced any spinouts or tracking issues, and the sensor tracks consistently throughout use. Quick flicks, tracking moving targets, and making smaller adjustments have all felt reliable.
I've been testing the mouse at 4K polling with my 20K FPS setting enabled, and I haven't encountered any significant performance issues. The overall experience has been consistent, and I haven't noticed any instability that negatively affects my gameplay. While updated specifications are nice to see, what matters most to me is how the mouse performs in actual use. So far, the MAYA X V2 has delivered a reliable experience with no noticeable tracking issues.
Battery Life
The battery life actually pleasantly surprised me. Battery life on the MAYA X V2 is actually pretty good, especially considering I'm running my 20K FPS setting with 4K polling. Compared to the Orcus, which I had to charge daily, with my current settings I'm getting around 12 hours of use per charge; for my typical usage, that translates to approximately three to four gaming sessions before I need to recharge. It's worth noting that battery life depends heavily on polling rate and other settings.
MAYA X V2 vs. Original MAYA X
Ultimately, I see the MAYA X V2 as a refinement of an already solid mouse. If you're coming from the original MAYA X, the updated internals are welcome, but whether the upgrade is worthwhile will depend on how much you value the newer hardware and finish. If you're buying into the MAYA X lineup for the first time, the V2 offers a compelling combination of comfort, build quality, and performance.
Pros & Cons

𖤝 Well-positioned side buttons and sensor
𖤝 Updated sensor and internal hardware
𖤝 Supports up to 8K polling over wired and wireless connections

Final Thoughts
Overall, the LAMZU MAYA X V2 has been a very enjoyable mouse to use. The shape is easily one of my favorite aspects, offering a comfortable experience across palm, claw, and fingertip grips despite its larger size. Combined with the slightly textured coating, solid construction, crisp clicks, and reliable sensor performance, the mouse delivers a well-rounded experience. The updated internals are welcome, and the finish is another highlight, but updating from the original isn't that necessary.

Device Armoury - Kiu Corridor Glasspad
Specifications
ᨳଓ Size: 490 × 420mm
ᨳଓ Total Thickness: 2.3mm (Glass thickness is 1.5mm)
ᨳଓ Surface: Coarse Particle · Speed-Type Coating
Whats Included
ᨳଓ Cleaning Cloth
ᨳଓ Metal Card
ᨳଓ Acrylic Art Display Block
ᨳଓ 2 sets of Device Armoury Skates (Pink Speed, Black Balanced)
I will say the box itself is beautiful. I think the design of the box itself would be a great design on glass. The box presentation is standard, but I do love the accessories included. It comes with the card as a collectible, while the art block is a cool desk or shelf accessory. Another small thing I find quite cute is the pad's base. The base features the company's logo embossed and repeated in a grid pattern. Despite the pad being only 2.3mm thick, it feels pretty heavy. It is not necessarily a bad thing, but the thickness and size caught me off guard.
Surface & Glide
The Kiu Corridor is a Device Armoury's interpretation of a speed glasspad. It has a coarser-grained surface finish that provides more feedback than most glasspads on the market; however, the texture does not compromise the pad's speed. I would put this pad in the same speed range as the super speed pads. When using the provided Sakura Pink dots, it is about 5% slower than Apex. It puts it in the realm of "super speed glass pads". Despite this, the coarse texture provides sufficient control for microadjustments.
The pad reminds me a lot of the 1337Gear Shion. Both pads share a similar overall feel. Both are fast, with noticeable surface texture that provides around the same feedback during use. In addition, they both fall within about the same speed. The biggest difference in the surface, to me, is that the Shion has slightly more texture. The Shion provides a bit more character than the Kiu Corridor. That said, I do prefer the Kiu more for tactical shooters like Valorant. The coating on the Kiu Corridor provides a more grounded feel.
In-game, the Kiu Corridor is best suited for players who prefer a fast surface and want minimal resistance when making large mouse movements. The lightweight glide makes it easy to transition between targets and maintain smooth tracking, especially in games where quick reactions and constant adjustments are important.
However, with a surface this speed-oriented, your choice of skates will play a significant role in the overall experience. Glasspads are already extremely skate-dependent, and the texture of the Kiu Corridor makes that consideration even more important. Different skate materials and shapes can noticeably change how the pad feels, so I would recommend experimenting with different skates to find a combination that works best for you.
Conclusion
I would recommend it to anyone looking for a super-fast surface with lots of texture. It is not the fastest pad I own, but it is among the fastest pads available at the moment. It offers a fast, lightweight glide with a noticeable surface feel. If you are a fan of the art, I think the pad should really be considered as a next pick-up. For me, the biggest selling point is how well the fast glide and textured feel come together. It caters to a more specific audience rather than trying to be an all-rounder, and I think that's perfectly fine. Not every glasspad needs to strike a balance between speed and control. If you're looking for a super-fast glasspad with lots of texture, the Kiu is one I'd recommend checking out.
