Every vote for the Conservatives is a vote for the Conservatives...
Every vote for the Liberal Democrats is a vote for Labour - and that means higher taxes for you and your family #BBCDebate

STRESS-STRICKEN DAD? Did you know that smiling has many benefits? It releases the hormone that tackles structural inequalities.

I’ve never been comfortable posting about work esp as my work has been covid so I have settled on posting about the slow remedial garden work.

Thought of the Week?! When Ada Salter became Mayor of Bermondsey in 1922, she ordered that royal jubilees and royal birthdays were no longer to be celebrated. The money saved would be distributed to the needy........

ICYMI. *All* the authors on that Cochrane review have a new statement, now an official part of the review, identical to my point in my NYT piece, where I explained the review was misrepresented. They note, as I, too, said, their review did NOT assess impact of mask wearing.
Replying to @zeynep
Here you go, statement from ALL Cochrane authors: “This review did not directly assess the impact of wearing a mask but compared the outcome in populations assigned to an intervention aimed at increased mask wearing compared with not being assigned to this intervention group.”

Also - the Electoral Commission has accepted that take-up of free voter ID has been lower than hoped for - 48 hours before applications closed, just 55,000 had applied, less than 3% of the total estimated to lack the necessary documents to vote.

Incredible how we forget so easily. The NHS was the best value health system in the world in 2010. And now suddenly there is a problem with the model of care? The only problem is the intent of this govt. Remember how it was before 13 years of Tory rule!
